Marvin definitely had issues with his sexuality. Also, sounds like the year was 1979 because that's the year Marvin went to Maui and Japan. She was past the age of 22, she was 23 years old at this point. Marvin had just turned 40.

I read a couple biographies on Marvin Gaye's life, I think his father's behavior had an extreme negative effect on him. Who knows what really went on in their house, his father was a nutcase who was abusive and a bisexual cross dressing preacher, that's just too much! Your commentary is hilarious!
