Ok. I see what the Broncos are thinking here. Russ played best when he had a guy he could bomb it away towards. You now got Sutton over the middle, jeudy in the slot, speedsters in hamler and Mims who can leak out and get deep. Good run game and good defense. Shades of what worked in Seattle…I can dig it🤔
Special teams upside. Good hands. 90% of the highlights are go-balls so I’m concerned with his route tree but if a team out there is missing a deep threat then he’d be solid
It's weird watching him because at times he looks explosive and at other times he doesn't seem to have that extra gear. He looks like a great prospect for sure. But his bursts are confusing to me haha.
@@brandonbrown7019 I'm not saying he isn't fast, I'm saying he is one of those players when he is running that doesn't look fast until you see him blow by people . He looks like he is lounging, he has a great stride that is misleading.
@@brandonbrown7019 FYI D1 or not less than 1 percent of players have a sub 4.4 forty. That includes only skill players not lineman. So there are a decent amount of players with that speed. But in most every game you have 1 maybe 2 with 4.3speed
My lord if my pats get him along with having juju, Parker, Bourne and Thornton and then having gesicki and Henry and their running backs. Especially if they add a TE like Zach kuntz, laporta or luke they would be dangerous.

I LOVE this pick even though I'm still shocked we moved up to go get another wide receiver but it really does make sense with Hamler always! Being hurt which is really disappointing because he could really have been a star if healthy. GO BRONCOS!
They will cut Hamler before this season starts if they can't find a team to trade for him in the preseason. Then either Sutton or Patrick is getting cut next offseason. The coaches are just planning for the future with this pick.
He ran 4.38. Hyatt ran 4.40. Hyatt looks WAY faster on tape. Plus it's impossible to evaluate Oklahoma WRs because they never run NFL routes. It's all scheme there. I wouldn't touch this player unless it's after rd 5.
@@dy50256 i said it's impossible to evaluate them. I didn't say they all are busts. You might wanna improve your reading comprehension before you take shots at people.
@@dancarpentieri7762 hey buddy u said OU wrs never run nfl routes…ceedee was running great routes during his time at OU. he never had blazing speed. maybe re read what u type before acting like a smarty pants.
