Here's one piece of advice that nobody teaches you and that you only realize once you've found your partner and have worked through all the early relationship BS: NOBODY is going to fit your "perfect picture" of what you're looking for in a partner (and you're sure as hell not going to fit theirs). Real, lasting relationships are about two people who share similar values/goals and are uncompromising on those, while being willing to compromise on the smaller stuff that the other person doesn't necessarily 'check off'. Simply put: if you spend your life waiting around for the person to check all the boxes, you'll end up alone. You've gotta get out there and get experience, but the important part (I feel) is to go after people you can legitimately see yourself building a life with from the get-go, and be willing to step away if things don't feel right.

I married the wrong girl at 23. It lasted less than a year. Worst decision of my life... but it wasn't the end of my life. Went through the phases, picked myself back up, and married the right girl at 30. 12+ years and we get better every year.

Hey David, I really needed this video, after 7 years into Adulthood (obviously guess I'm 25), I've finally decided to turn my life around, I've been going to the gym since January to try and lose weight so I look better and wanting to try to start dating, but it's been hard with my Austim and trying to learn to drive soon, probably shouldn't use my Austim as an excuse for the driving part, but I am a little nervous to try, but short you did on thinking yourself as already dead has gotten to keep going

I really REALLY relate to what you said about being 'invincible or on cloud 9 and having it all stripped away in a second. Back on 4-29-15 I danced with death, thankfully escaped its grasp( but suffered a traumatic brain injury and a stroke, punctured lung, broken arm and torn ligaments in my right knee was in a coma for almost a month. No more motorcycles for me. My bike broke in 2 pieces... and a lot more to the scenario, but I'm not gonna type it.

I'm from India. Arrange marriages have low divorce rate due to social pressure. Arrange marriages are basically a business deal based on money. Even though most of them would stay miserable in their marriages but won't divorce because of pressure from society and parents. Divorce is a taboo in most places

The list is good. But this list changes as you date and go through relationships. For me, the one i married definitely didn't meet everything on my list but there was love and i discovered i had core requirements (deal breakers) that he had, the rest on my list i could do without. We were married a long time. The love kept us going cause life changes you, and i don't think i wouldn't have stayed in my marriage without love cause it got us through some tough spots. Widowed now. Still going, life is good even though i'm on my own. As far as dating? Maybe. And i know my list is different. Thanks for this video.

I have the knowledge of what is going on for all sides, but my biggest fear is that I would become the opposite of who I am. I always push my self to break my limits and I might break the limitations that keeps me a good person. Theres been a lot of destruction energy that is being held back and if my strength of will has a crack in the foundation, the destruction might consume my strong will and use it to achieve its goal by any means necessary (even at the cost of human life), I've even thought of at that point, I would sell my soul and emotions to gain more power.... Literally feels like the balance of all of creation is about to collapse..
