hahahaha Ah man, I wish they had Colonel Flagg on the show more often. Everything in moderation I guess. My favorite Flagg quotes... "Nobody can get the truth out of me because even I don't know what it is. I keep myself in a constant state of utter confusion." "Don't play dumb with me you're not as good at it as I am!"😂
Col. Flag about breaking up a penicillin ring “I have written permission to die in the attempt. Hawkeye “if there more men like you there’d be less men like you”. Col Flag was a great character.
No doubt was when Radar goes, I'll call ya later, Col. Flagg just came in(dressed ridiculously)! He goes into Potter's office. Have a seat Flagg, be with ya in a minute. 😂😂 Potter: Why are you dressed like an Italian movie Usher? Flagg: Can you keep a secret? Potter: I think so. Flagg: I'm disguised as Ling Chow, Chinese double agent! Potter: That's funny, you don't look Chinese! 😂
One of my favorite scenes. Colonel Flagg was the funniest characters on the show...that and Harry Morgan as Colonel Steele, a Maryland BlueBlood, which he portrayed in a different season.
I knew what he meant, but most people wouldn't even know about that episode. They've only known him as colonel Potter. But either way, we knew what he meant.@@Cmdrraabb
I noticed that when Colonel Blake had to deal with Colonel Flagg, he acted like Flagg intimidated him. But when Potter had to deal with Flagg he was more like he didn't really care about Flagg's nonsense! 😂
I didn't realize that originally there is the stupid laughing. We have one very special privilege in czech dubing - no one is giving us hints when we should laugh. It makes MASH the real best comedy serie.
In Flagg’s first appearance, he wasn’t such a cliche. To some degree, but not overly done like afterwards. Lazy writers find it easier to make one-dimensional characters than to make them more realistic.
All it took to ruin this show was a couple of cartoon characters, Frank Burns among them. BTW why didn't they let Frank Burns character develop from it's cartoon status (like all the other regular ones )
Col Flag was so brilliantly funny. so serious yet so ridiculous. Ed Winter did a damn fine job playing him. i really wish there was a LOT more flag. we'd only laugh more and so that would have been a good thing @!
