Great review, always makes me want to go for a ride! I’ve been on the Fairlight Secan for the past few years and love the ride of steel, got it set up very similarly to this one actually. If I ever came into some money, a Mason would definitely be on my list

Great review and a lovely looking bike........although I'd probably think twice about eating anything at one of your parties! I'm lucky enough to have owned a Mason Bokeh, for the last five years. Absolutely love the bike, but would be very interested to get your take on how it compares to the Exposure.

Finally! I have been going crazy waiting for the first RU-vidr to finally do a real-world test of this bike. I was hoping Josh Ibbett would get hold of one of these for one of his ultra bikepacking races, but this looked like a very fair test of the bikes capabilities. It was about what I expected. I was hoping for something that filled the gap between a more fast gravel bike for tamer gravel versus a more hard core bikepacking bike that can handle light mountain bike territory (such as the ISO). Those trails you were riding were the perfect middle ground. My big concern was the listed frame weight seemed too light. I was afraid the frame would be too delicate for anything but smooth gravel. They managed to make it light, but also reasonably strong. I was just millimeters away from pressing the 'order' button on this Exposure bike as my new dream bike -- and thats after spending two years researching every titanium bike worth looking at. I was so impressed with the fit and finish of the frame, and the exquisite paint work. The little details and the super clean welds just impressed me even more than the Ti bikes I was looking at. Unfortunately, I then looked at the import duties into the U.S., and that 5400 Dollar bicycle was suddenly almost 7000 dollars. Thats a pretty huge discrepency between listed price, and the real price - as delivered. I had to back out at the last minute. I am still considering the frame alone because for whatever reason the import fee (percentage) are much less for just the frame. I looked at the steel Pipedream A.L.I.C.E., but ended up just getting an inexpensive Poseidon Redwood as a project bike -- just something to ride for now. I need time to digest the crazy import fees, and hopefully one day I can get hold of what I hope would be my lifetime dream gravel bike.

That’s a great review if i didn’t already own a good gravel bike it is something I would really consider. I suppose that’s the acid question for their market. Would I sell my current bike or upgrade to a Mason. I think upgrade is a yes, the other is more difficult. Anyway lovely bike. Also a bit of a cheeky question that route looked really good would you share or is it top secret.

How would this compare to the likes of Cotic's Escapade? They look they have kind of a similar vibe... ie. one bike with several pairs of wheels a a real quiver killer.
