Mason Music Demo Lab: Reverend Contender HB 

Hey Ben! Thanks for the comment- I just watched through all three and I’m going to guess it’s more of the engineering on the production side that the guitar itself. All three have the HB pickups which should have similar tones but for variations in the guitars themselves. Two of them were on the rocker 32 amp and one was an OR15 I think- plus we had a single 57 on some and a combo of a 57+ c414 on the most recent. Always dialing things in, but the discerning viewer such as yourself picks up on such tweaks! That’s a long way of saying the guitar is not that different and it’s likely that you’re hearing a difference bc of the mic and amp settings.

Douglas Echaiz thanks man! It’s always fun talking and playing new gear! The pickups are adjustable, so you can set them however you like.

Douglas Echaiz same pickups, both are set necks with korina body, so pretty similar tone. Different style body and headstock (sensei has three and three, this has all six strings on one side). If I were choosing between them, I’d pick the one I like the looks of.
