Mass Effect 2 - Catching Morinth (Samara's Loyalty Mission) [HD]

You’ll probably never see this but this helped alot ive been trying this quest for a halve an hour now loading saves running through dialogue you saved me so much effort

This was one of the most difficult missions in the game. one little slip and Morinth escapes. I had to watch a walkthrough to do it correctly.

This mission always gives me anxiety because it’s difficult to pass but easy to fail

I like this kind of missions like thane mission or kasumi mission

I'm 18 and I fell like an old lady having a heart attack

"I just killed the bravest and smartest of my daughters. There are no words. Show mercy on a broken old warrior and let us leave." Oof..the pain in her voice. It's just so palpable. Brilliant scriptwriting and even better voice acting.

Paragon option wasn't availible for me in conversation so I failed. Cool to see how this mission unfolded. Thanks for the upload.

Damn Ive played this game half a dozen times and I never have enough paragon to pass the speech check to choose between Morinth and Samara.

I constantly kept messing up to a point where I just gave up, how the hell do you get those different speech options?!

You know to be honest with you I despise this mission I'm just glad I stumbled upon this video trying to 100% to the trilogy after so many years

My option list was way different from this ones

I'm guessing you're a renegade, and not paragon, like me. It was the same reason I failed it, too. =[ You have to be all heroic and have a high Paragon rating. You can check your Paragon/Renegade rating by pressing 'Start' and going to 'Squad, the meters are on the left and right sides of your character's image.

I tried playing by your video, but my character is a Renegade and not a paragon. Couldn't do 'Strength of Will'. =[ Damn.

So if i failed this mission and moved along with other missions cant i return and play the mission again

Morinth is one of the few failings in Mass Effect 2. She had the potential to be so interesting but it was just kind of wasted. Samara honestly isn't my favorite character and she's not that deep. Of the two, Morinth had the most potential to be intriguing but she's just a one dimensional serial killer with no remorse or guilt and she's obviously just trying to save her own ass when she offers to join Shepard if you get the option to choose between Morinth and Samara. Unless you're going the complete renegade route, I have no idea why you would ever choose Morinth over Samara

when i played i wasn't able to say the strength of will thing so then i failed it, why was i not able to say it?

For so long, I was a fool, thinking the reason why I wanted to understand Morinth and her modus-operandi was simply out of empathy in a foolish attempt to redeem her. But watching "Bird Box" and "Anhilation revealed the truth to me. My Sherpard's backstory (colonist and sole survivor) mirrors my nihilistic perspective of life and how deep down, all I really care about is cultural and genetic progress. I found Morinth beautiful and with something to offer to the world. She just needed the right person to focus on that rather than the killings. And her living would be the first step into having the Ardat-Yakshi integrated in society.

This is literally the gayest mission in the entire game.

Good vid, but FPS is no good at all... Get a better system (even mainstream gamer AMD videocard. If you decide to go NVidia, only ultrapowerful would really do the trick) and the remake would be awesome.
