This trailer gave me goosebumps and had my heart pounding. My time with the original Mass Effect Trilogy is one of the most profound and treasured gaming experiences of my life And I can't wait to experience it all over again :)
Man, I had the same feeling too when I heard the music play for the first time when I saw the trailer. I love the Mass effect Trilogy and I loved the first game so much... I know for some that it might just seem like a little detail, but I know just the fact that I can individually place my squamates instead of grouping them as a pair, is going to more than likely, grow my love for the first game.
I hope you really enjoy the remake man. And here is hoping that Mass Effect 4 isn't too far behind it. I had totally forgotten you could not individually place squamates in ME 1!
I absolutely loved the music from this trailer, I actually sang along with it lol. I'm actually starting to play the original Mass Effect trilogy so i can experience the story for myself, so far I'm loving it.
I also loved the music! So epic! Is it a remix of some music of the series? It's been been a few years since I played it, so I can't quite point it out.
Mass Effect 1 was amazing, ME2 was phenomenal, ME3 was great, combined this is going to be the greatest game ever. Yeah I know a lot of people didn't like ME3 but honestly I think it gets a bad wrap which won't be present in this, if you consider the whole game as the end then your choices did make a big impact. Playing them back to back the criticisims will be less of that entry as people will see it as it is, the final act and not judge it on the last few minutes. RIP Pinnacle Station though, I know its not good but I love everything about ME1. I used to do 4 playthroughs everytime I made a new shep to get all the bonus charm and intimidate points to max out his stats before moving to ME2.
I hope you really enjoy the game dude. And like you say the ending to ME3 shouldn't hit us like a rogue semi this time around, so I'm anticipating (at least for myself) I'll enjoy 3 much more this time around. And I'm super excited to play ME1 again with all the changes they've added!
Have you noticed that they put a clip from ME3: The Citadel in the ME2 spot? I missed that the first time I watched the trailer and caught it the 4th time watching it
I've been playing mass effect for 15 years. Not a year went by when I didn't play it. I'm replaying right now. Guess I'm rather fanatic about it. Remember, guy, whether Tali survives depends on you keeping Legion alive.
Honestly... The ending controversy of 3 was pretty insane. I mean, people had waited years for the conclusion of a game series they REALLY cared about... and some over-reacted. The extended ending cut-scene really improved the feeling of the denouement and as far as I'm concerned the ending of 3 is satisfactory. Granted, I came to the series late. I was a gamer when it first came out, but never got around to playing them. I'm somewhat thankful for this, as the anticipation or resulting controversy didn't color my experience of it.
