AnDeezNutz Yes. It is too painful. Reminds me about why I went to play Paragon. Even if I would play Renegade, I could never kill Mordin if Wrex is alive.
for more suspension and movie feels point the gun at mordin when hes walking off but dont shoot him (dont trigger the renegade quick time event), its a really good fucking scene and shepard still throws the carnifex away like saying ¨I almost shoot my friend with this¨
@@KritoSkywaker Even if Wrex is dead (as long as you destroyed maelon's data), you just don't kill mordin, if both Wrex and Eve are dead, you can save Mordin with a speech check.
Norbert Klár Same 🤣 there were some moments where I used the renegade options though but I was paragon most of the time, I just wish that there was somewhere in the middle, in renegade sometimes we’re way too mean and in paragon too good, I hope for that in an eventual ME4.
A renegade playthrough is among the best ones I ever had. Don't do a full paragon or full renegade, I like to go mostly renegade but make some smart paragon choices like picking Anderson as a councilor.
imagine how awkward the citadel dlc would be with this Shepard. Everybody would just be quiet, nervously nibbling sushi and sipping their drinks precariously, hoping to not get shot.
Excuse me? You can kill Wrex, Mordin, Ashley, Jack(kinda), Legion, Tali, most of ME 2 companions will die if you never completed their loyalty missions, you kill a lot of nonames, but moreover - you can dextroy RACES in ME 3. Quarian, Geth, Krogan to some extent. ME 1 has nothing next to this.
Everyone always misses getting the part in ME2 where Shepard confronts an asshole batarian bartender that has been poisoning humans and makes him drink it himself, killing him. That's my favorite.
Watching Legion getting talked down to and killed made my heart physically hurt. Legion is my favorite character and it pains me to see him treated like that.
*The entire video* "Heh, nice." "Badass" "YEAH !" *Shoots Mordin* "Whoa...man that's not acceptable..." *Makes Kelly cry* "Tha...That's uncalled for..." *Talks about the Geth like they are just machines infront of Legion* "Watch your mouth you son of a bitch !" *Shoots Legion multiple times* "STOP HURTING HIM YOU GODDAMN FUCKING SON OF A BITCH !" Ah yes, Mass Effect will always be magical
Ouch...Ashley's face in the begining. That actually really hurt and made me feel bad for her. I just can't be the mean Shepard, too cruel for me man. Some Renegade choices are funny, but others...just yikes man!
With my renegade girl I was mean to the people who were mean to me and nice to the people who are nice and the people who I just hated I was full renegade all the way like the council some of the krogan.
@@SweetCauchemar lol very weird name but not as weird as this one guy his channel Mass effect was Mass effect psychopath playthrough and his name was 10 piece nug lol
@@FSUSean2112 It's a combination of my nationality and a term coming from a Japanese anime called Berserk. Well anime and manga actually. But for those who like you who don't know about that can find it weird and I don't mind lol But I remenber 10 piece nug lol
Conrad Verner was a naive pretender that absolutely should have gotten himself killed. Shepard was trying to give him a reality check that would stick. Unfortunately, sequels gotta sequel!
I’m doing a renegade playthrough right now and good lord did it feel wrong to do that especially knowing she becomes such a major asset in ME3. I think that was the first time I really felt like a psychopath in the game lol
the difference is that Ashley despite her Xenophobia can still see reason and doesnt let her prejudices get in the way of anything. Cerberus is a terrorist organization that makes other fictional shadow agencies like ONI seem ethical.
Save Ashley in Virmire. At the 3rd act have her with you in the Citadel before the battle and have a talk with the leader of that protest (near the entrance of Flux) and talk in paragon/top choices. (I think she say the same thing if you talk in Renegade.) You might change your mind about her.
I remember being surprised in ME2 when Conrad Verner was talking about how I pulled a gun on him and I was really confused cause I didn't remember our interaction going like that at all. but now that makes sense kind of.
It's a glitch that the developers left in. I think you can edit this with Save Editor. Because there is a scene, where you greeted by an asari first, who slaps you. After you responds, she tells you about Conrad. And when you meet with Conrad, he acts as the big fan. "You alive! It's my happiest day in my life!"
I don't think punching Han Garrel is a jerk move, it's more like me punching that bastard for almost getting Tali and the civilian fleet killed, *I don't regret it.*
Hard as it is to watch through this stuff, Shepard is a soldier, and the responses here are accurate to that mindset. Most of them anyway, other are harsh even for military standards
Certain ones, like killing the Rachni queen, they make sense as a neccessary evil. The problem is instead of treating it like a somber decision, Shepard just casually does it and stares like a serial killer
I like being kind to my crew, but some of the dialogues is just funnier as renegade. E.g. "your grasp of the obvious is inspiring..." and "someone up there needs my boot up his ass" like something I'd say if I was in that situation through sarcasm or frustration
Robert R or if you didn’t have enough para/ren points to convince him to let the guy he was hunting go. The choice is to abandon him or sacrifice the people in the facility for the merc
Yeah not just that mission in Mass effect 1 but they were also the team that turned the scientists exogeni scientists into the husks multiple times and they had rakni at the facility
Not to mention Freedoms Progress while Jacob wasn’t involved. Cerberus did endanger the migrant fleet. Miranda was like, “that’s not how I wouldn’t have put it.”
It's not just sad about that it's really bad where you go back on the Normandy and over here the engineers talking and find out that she committed suicide because of that
@@FSUSean2112 the term jerk isn’t even accountable here. I can play Shepard as a murderous psychopath sure, but to make someone who cares about you cry? Nah.
No, joker's "disease" is actually a rare genetic malfunction where the calcium in his leg bones didn't grow properly and his legs are hollow (like a bird's). Which maybe his darker teeth are a sub-result of leg calcium deficiency, but that could also be because of a lot of other things, too.
Well now that I've seen this I don't ever need to play a renegrade Shepard. This was hard to watch at times, especially when my boi Legion got cut down like that
Void - First, make sure you go to Renegade for mainly. Second, gather points and increase your passive to get extra points. Suggesting to do the one passive bonus, that gives you 100% paragon/renegade points.
You missed two of the best scenes in 1 (did you ring us up just to hang up on us again?) /the council - /Shepard (you know it!) -- (YOU big stupid jellyfish)
I've been playing the renegade style for the legendary edition. I played nice the first time, not this time 😁 Oh BTW, when you kill Balak. You can "graze" him by shooting his arm. Then he will say something like "stop, you could have killed me." Then Shepard goes: " then die already" as he puts one in his head. I was like... Damn what a badass! I still will not hurt my squadmates. Except Kaden, I told him to "die proud" too lol. I felt like such an ass.
