Those are true brothers man. You could feel how happy they were for you man. George I bought one of your 240g, fast drop jigs. Never done the slow pitch thing ever, a few weeks back just blind dropping just for the fuck of it in like 1000 ft, let it down about 300 and got hit!!! Bro, I got like a 8lb blackfin lmao. Keep up the good work mang.

I wish your 50g jigs werent so expensive. 6 or 7$ would be reasonable but 10$ is ridiculous. They will eventually have the same design coming out of China for 3$.

@@jygprofishing greater amberjack……. My first. Still looking for that grouper! Recently started fishing one year ago in Barbados. However I am the only one slow pitch jigging that I have met. Shops have no slow pitch gear. So buying my stuff from internet. I love it!! Much more productive and fun than all the other methods that were shown to me. So I have learnt strictly from you tube and trial and error and I am killing it and getting better every week. So much more to learn and catch

I wanted your opinion on the kind of jigs to use in the NE. We have Mackerel and Menhaden here as the primary baitfish species. Since we're targeting bottomfish, should I primarily use jigs that in color and profile resemble these baitfish?

Jigs mainly appeal on reflex strikes, but matching the general color of the local forage is usually a great idea.

Huge Gag Grouper! Just curious, but when is Grouper season open in Atlantic and Federal waters off Jupiter?? I'm pretty sure you kept that Grouper illegally...Isn't Gag Grouper season closed from January 1st - April 30th?? Please reply to let me know the proper Grouper season. Thanks so much and great catch!

That’s correct Jim, and this grouper was caught in July, grouper season was open and this fish was 100% legal. Before targeting groupers we make sure the season is open. Repeating the seasons is extremely important ✅
