That's probably why Dark is one of the few players who can give Serral a run for his money. Most people can't even take a single map off of Serral.

@@ZC.Andrew yeah. like, doesnt dark even have positive wr vs serral or something? i know everyone is mememing on dark for rating himself as the best player. but i mean... he's winning constistantly vs serral like wtf 🤣 No one else is capable of that.

@@salvocampoli Clem is much more relentless harasser and his micro is kinda insane. He does everything what's possible to weaken and slow down the opponent in early game.

Clem is currently rank 4 in the world and Byun is rank 11, so that's kinda true in that the top 3 or 4 are often in a league of their own.

@@duszan2 yes for sure Clem is a micro monster, but Buyn too. What he has more than Byun? It's a serius question, i'm new in Starcraft 2 so I want to know from people that know more than me 😀

@hivetech4903 yes, but I felt an incredible distance between the 2, bigger than the 7 positions that separate them in the rankings. For example Dark I think he is ranked higher than Clem, but he was destroyed by Clem, in 6 games he only won one Mutas game. I try only to understand what he has more than Byun, i'm new in Starcraft world I've been following the game for more or less 2 months and I see that Byun and Clem have 2 really similar styles, both based especially on microx, aggression, etc. So I wanted to know that the obvious distance between the 2 depends only on the slightly better micros of Clem or something else :)

I think a lot of it comes down to familiarity. Byoun and Dark both play on Korea, they play each other a lot, they know what to expect and how to respond. Clem is on EU. The only zerg that is a challenge to him there is Serral. Serral has whole different playstyle than Dark. To win vs Serral, Clem uses his units literally to their breaking point, hoping Serral makes any mistakes and tries to never let it go. Byoun mindset is often "ok, he saw the drop, he has units ready, i'm not getting meaningful damage, let's try another angle". Clem will drop on top of your zerglings if he deems there are 3 too few of them and then be forced to pick up with no drone damage, but 10-15 zerglings dead. Again and again. And grind you down untill you have no larva. This often catches Dark off guard i think. Byoun respects Dark enough to back off, which Dark will sometimes use, while Clem will check you always. Clem will also cheese very often to get initiative, which allows him to dictate the pace of the game, which hurts Dark especially. But that's just my take on this.
