For anyone wondering why Buck doesn’t actually speak that much in this episode, it's because the AI voice was just really bad for him and I didn’t want it to get too obvious.
Chief saying "I genuinely think I'm going to k*ll myself after we're done recording." 3:22 Caught me off guard (I find myself relating to him the most with these)
I like to imagine that when Arbiter claimed that he would win in a fight Chief just silently turned to the camera and was like "get a load of this guy" like something out of a sitcom
Love just how DONE Chief is whenever Arbiter pretty much opens his mouth. Also, for Chief: How would you describe your friendship/relationship with Arbiter and Cortana? For Arbiter: What was your most memorable moment serving in the Covenant apart from becoming Arbiter in the first place? For all three of you: Have you heard of Project Freelancer? What do you know about it?
Damn my question didn’t get featured. Oh well. I enjoyed the hell outta this episode. Oh yea by the way I loved how arbiter said “shut the F*ck up”. Literally I was laughing so hard at that!
Chief, what did you think of Cortana changing your armor to something less badass while you were sleeping for 4 years before arriving to Requiem in Halo 4?
man i like how in this podcast how arby n the chief are written completely backwards in contrast to how they are written in that classic series from jon cjg
This is pretty awesome man. Great use of AI. I also love how short they are. Nice and bite sized and they don’t get old. I hope these continue! Subbed.
Not a single question about Dare, ONI, his ODST squad, Firefly, Vergil, Spartan training, Sadie, being the slowest member of Osiris in Halo 5, or the Infinity blowing to smithereens. Or the family of apes rescued in Halo 3 ODST's final cutscene. Better luck when you're satisfied with your mimic and when the discussion gets out of the gutter. In the original outline for the Human-Covenant war, the Grunts and Jackals (including sniper jackals) were the ground troops, and did the mass-murdering. The Hunters fortified positions of interest, and the Prophets were high value targets that orchestrated the whole war. The Elites did not bother appearing unless a worthy enemy appeared, or the Prophets were in danger. The Brutes were later retconned in as carnivores that slaughtered civilians and prisoners and ate them. Mostly, the Elites were found on board ships,or banshees, essentially doing bombing runs. Just ask the Americans; bombing without regard to civilian casualties with fancy new high-impact technology is completely justified--right up until the Europeans decide it's not.
I’ve got a question for Chief. We all know that Halo 5 was kind of a disaster, (the events that happened to you from late October 2558 until the start of the incident on Zeta Halo) but how was it to meet up with Kelly, Linda, and Fred again? Did you guys get up to any kind of hijinks before that whole “awol” incident? I know you were a bit preoccupied at the time, but it still must’ve been nice to be together again, right? RIP Samuel. Gone but not forgotten.
If y’all are taking questions in the comments, I have one for Arbie: What was it like working with esteemed Covenant Special Forces commander and shipmaster Rtas ‘Vadum?
This is for arbiter how are you so bad at your job How are you not able to destroy the flood with an entire covenant but master chief could destroy the flood with a floating light bulb
wow arbiter just roasted chief nice touch and ngl keep doing these pod casts i like them very much and they make me laugh you should put spartan locke in the next podcast as a guest
Master Chief, whats your favorite version of the assault rifle and why is it the MA5B? Also for Arbiter, aside from the Kig, what other covenant species have you sampled aside? Which was the best and which was the worst?
