An extended version of the new Master Kohga battle theme. Listen to the every song currently uploaded in this playlist: • The Legend of Zelda: T... Thanks for watching!!
Honestly I kinda think they intentionally made them easy to reinforce his place as a joke boss, but gave him the most fun fights because they knew they couldn’t implement the vehicles into any other bosses
When his vehicles start flying and/or shooting bombs at link, on top of having protection from the sides, it gets tougher. Not hard boss fights by any means, but still challenging enough!
I love how the implication with the Yiga clan is that they knew about and started exploring the depths way earlier than the rest of Hyrule, presumably because of how Links first fight with Master Kohga ended. It just works so well as a continuation of botws story.
This sounds like something you would hear in a spin off title, not one of the mainline games and I absolutely love it. My first response when it kicked was "someone shredding the guitar? In my mainline Zelda game? Someone pinch me I must be dreaming."
If he doesn't return in the next game, I'm going to join the yiga clan and seek revenge against the princess and her swordsman, the one who wields the fragile sword
You have to give Kohga credit, the man can take a hell of a beating. Keep in mind that Link is fully capable of slaying monsters the size of BUILDINGS, and yet Kohga survives each and every fight he has with him. One gets the impression that the Golden Goddesses could descend from the heavens above and smite him with all their divine wrath, and he'd still crawl away swearing vengeance.
I was really freaked out when I first entered the underground. It got less creepy as I got used to it. Then I ran into this guy and heard this music. It rocks and grooves too hard to scary down there now.
@@SuperJman1111 That must mean that when Gabondorf becomes forklift certified, and his third phase boss fight has him driving a massive monster truck, his theme will improve.
Honestly makes sense the Yigas, once part of the Sheikah, would be the ones to fully utilise Zonai technology. Honestly Kohga was a pretty intimidating force this time around comedy aside. Endlessly powered vehicles and the prowess to bring it straight to Ganon himself to help him in the destruction of all. Goofy ness aside, I struggled on his fights quite a bit and that final one was genuinely an extremely powerful force to be reckoned with
Bro master Khoga is so powerful it’s insane. You ever notice how when he gets knocked out of his vehicle he purposefully doesn’t fight back to give link a chance? He even ends fights early for links own safety! On top of it all, he calls Gannondorf “the magnificent one” to boost Gannondorfs confidence!! Glory to Master Khoga
I love the idea that this is diegetic. That while Link is fighting Kohga, there's this choir and band of Yiga that are just jamming in the background, trying to give ups to their pudgy boss.
"Crap, the Boss is losing, CHANT HARDER! BRING IN THE ELECTRIC GUITAR! KEEP IT GOI-oh its over... Ok people good effort, pack it up we got three more to go.
Love Kohga. He's such an incredible goof, but despite that, he's actually a highly skilled and shrewd ninja. He just also happens to have the worst luck in all of Hyrule.
Wasn't expecting Kohga to not only return, but also be the first boss I fight in my run. Also, the fake out at the first seconds of the song, making you think it's the same song as before. I love it.
You know, he was my first boss fight as well. I did the first phase, and I'm saving his next phases at last for a special place in my heart. Or maybe before I defeat Ganondorf idk.
LET ME GUESS, you immediately went to the great plateau after you got your paraglider to check the shrine of resurrection, jumped into a nearby chasm and found the central mine
@@eer2050 Pretty much... The Shrine wasn't at the top of my mind initially. I just wanted to see how the Plateau changed... and it has certainly changed...
The Yigas in this game are just Team Rocket lol Comes in twos, love their boss, harrass researchers for power, obsessed with something Yellow, have incredibly advanced technology but still fail, purely motivated by grudge and everytime they're defeated they go blasting off again
I love him and this theme so much. I need a story expansion where he puts his evil ways behind him and just becomes a paunchy zoni car dealer or something. His over the top acting would be perfect for a guy trying to sell someone on buying his new invention, and he already has a dedicated staff of clan members ready to help him in mass production. Plus with how he doesn't have the master hand he must have built all of the vehicles and vehicles with extra gadgets/variations we see during the fights with him before we arrive by hand. That level of building doesn't just come from a lust for power, I bet part of him really does enjoy building this stuff. Nintendo, let Koga become the engineer dad he was born to be!
“This little beauty was built out of top of the line Zonai parts. I’ll admit, it’s a bit of a fixer-upper, and has a good bit of gloom still attached, but who’s perfect? For you, I’ll give you a good price of 2,000 rupees. Comes with a free bunch of Mighty Bananas, courtesy of the Yiga Clan’s greatest leader and engineer, Master Khoga.”
I KNEW I wasn't the only one who heard that. Even his boss fight feels like it should be in Crash. I can just imagine him running Crash over and flattening with his bigass car and the "WOAH!"
If this isn’t the hardest bop in the game, I don’t know what is. Literally stalled the battle just to listen to the music, then remembered soundtracks exist and annihilated that goofy big-bellied boss man. Call me Yiga cause #kohga4life
my favorite part about the Kohga arc this game is that, throughout all of their encounters, Link never drops into a battle stance until the fight starts this man is not impressed by the Yiga Clan leader
That bass is INSANELY groovy, it's rare for me to notice the bass while playing games but when I heard it I had to stop what I was doing and just vibe 🕺
Love that I kept bumping into him while filling out my map of the depths. The water one was my favorite, it felt like a mini Roman-style naval battle. I was almost expecting a sky battle with Kohga after the final one but alas.
Really loved seeing kohga back and getting more than one boss fight. I aldo had a huge grin on my face when blasted off after the last battle makes me thinks hes still out there wating to challenge his rival link again
i hold out hope that when this game inevitably gets dlc like botw did, there's a side quest added in where you get to help kohga come to the same conclusion he did in age of calamity that maybe the end of every living being in hyrule might just possibly also include the yiga clan i want to fight side by side with the funny banana ninja man
I loved this theme in botw. When I heard the first beats of it in totk I immediately risen up the music and omg the electric guitar is amazing. On top of that the fight is fun !
I appreciate how in this game the yiga seem a lot more intelligent being the only people to use the zonai tech proficiently. they were sheika so i know they arent dumb but in botw they didnt seem all that great.
The second fight with kohga was gonna be easy af when i saw his first machine. Then he whipped out the ole cannon blaster 2000 and sent me to the shadow realm. I learned to fear the great Yiga Master that day
Something I first said is that this song sounds like it came right out of a Splatoon story mode boss. I can't quite place in words what makes me think that, but I just feel it. In my bones
So I'm not the only one who gets the vibes with this version of his boss theme? I enjoyed it a lot myself and it was funny to fight him and see how he would next upgrade his vehicles mid fight.
Best ost in the whole entire game, and nothing will change my mind. Also i like how you made it where the bananaman himself slowly fades into the video
I am extremely disappointed they didn't bring back his AoC voice actor for this game. That guy made Kohga's lines 10 times funnier than they already were.
im so glad they realized the potential master kohga had as a character. he was awesome age of calamity and tears of the kingdom made him even better (though i did kinda prefer his voice in AoC)
