You also skipped the secondary part of the age 4 landmark where it says mercenaries get unique upgrades. That’s probably a very big deal. Might want to re-emphasize that.

My first impressions of byzantines was that they were kinda stupid, after playing a few games im actually really enjoying them, i like the unique units as well as getting to choose different mercenaries depending on what civs urnupmagainst

On a surface level, this civ looks less difficult than Chinese or Rus. I mean this seems more like a "decisions decisions" civ than a high APM civ. So I guess this isn't as bad for lower level players as I initially thought 🤞🤞🤞

This is literally the most difficult civilization in the game. Even judging by the win rate, it is at the very bottom, right next to China. But I really like this civilization...

with wheelbarrows, do farming villagers give 4 or 5 oil per trip next to the Grand Winery? The math says it should be 4.8 oil per trip but IDK if it would be rounded to the closest round number or if it's just rounded down.

It might say a flat 4/5 but if your math is correct, then it will (without telling you) be an income with 4.8 :)
