do you realize how hard that would be for rare considering the cant even make normal shots do damage half the time?

You can still throw your knives around the ladders than swap off but yeah there’s no good point in using the knives over a different weapon in your inventory unless it’s pve maybe with them taking out the tech, no backstab one tap, and no anchor strat no more

​@@ODwaalO Yeah sure. You can go over the harpoon tech that you didn't mention in this video. Sadly though I don't think there's going to be anything interesting to say about the backstab. It's very sluggish now that you can't animation cancel. The only thing useful I can think of is using the backstab animation to feint into a throwing knife to bait out your enemies from cover because they'll think you're slow. Other than that I have a few niche ideas: 1.) You can use the arch of the knife by throwing it straight up in the air to insta-kill someone if you combo it with any other source of damage. For instance on the sloop, you can throw it from the front of the ship to hit the canopy or vice versa and it has a chance of hitting someone that's holding that position follow up with another knife throw or gun damage to kill them once the knife hits when it falls. 2.) You can throw the knives on any interactable part of the ship not just the anchor; the wheel, the ladder, around the cannon (if you try to interact at a distance), the resource barrels, anything on your enemies ship that you can throw these on/near will waste time giving you a very slight advantage in time. The most useful one I found is the wheel, if you throw the knives on the right side of a sloop it's EXTREMELY annoying if you're coming up the stairs and trying to steer as fast as possible. 3.) The knives inherit the velocity of you movement. You can do cool things like jump up to give extra upwards velocity or you can also jump and fall down then throw to add downward velocity to your knives. Upwards velocity can give you very small increase in range, downward velocity is useful if your throwing knives straight up in an arch (reduces the time of when you throw and when the knife hits the ground). The really cool thing though is cannon movement, if you throw a knife forwards while being launched by a cannon it travels at mach 5 it's insane, and if you throw it backwards at the right cannon speed, it just falls straight to the ground. Not really effective but cool ways to get kills.

Yeah fun fact this is all coming from what I figured out myself, later after making this video I saw a video showing it and funny enough they were doing the same animation cancel as me and holding throw and spamming left click now that’s DEF getting patched but I was playing with it on stream yesterday and killed some people with it it’s crazy

Regardless though I’m sure the techs getting patched so this video will be great to come to for how much damage it does, and strats
