Amazong video set! Really helped hearing an experienced professional lay it out. Perhaps this is too involved a question but since some of these transactions are not 100% tax deductible, like my amazon prime account, do I need to go back through each of my transactions come tax time to find which ones i can only partly write off? Im under the impression the expenses are categorized so that they can be reported come tax time. Apologies for the long comment, if it is too involved would you mind pointing me in the right direction?

I would recommend splitting the expenses in real time as you're doing your bookkeeping. For example, if you paid $120 for your Amazon prime account and only 50% of it is deductible, then I would split the expense: $60 business expense and $60 "owner's pay"

Thanks for the video! BUT. Actually, it is not always a good idea to post under one category... When I filed my S corp taxes, the software specifically asks how much was parking and tolls, so you can't put it in one car expense category, telephone and internet, subscriptions, and there are other categories as well. Better is to find out, what you need to track for taxes, and keep track of it.
