The Show blew my mind.. my kids ask for it every day!😂. The toy looks ok.. I need it only because I loved the show but I wish he had a nicer cape and. Completely different head maybe with the long hair.
Yeah, the show was really cool compared to the first two seasons, in my opinion. This figure is interesting for the line, but it's kind of boring compared to other figures like Webstor or Clawful. He should have come with a staff or sword. And I would also prefer another head with long hair like you mentioned. Thanks for watching as always and sharing your thoughts, bro!👍

Thanks for watching! Yeah, I can only show so many custom combinations or parts swapping ideas in the videos. There's too much to try, and even one has so many custom ideas. I try to keep the video time down. He also has a large style of Pegs that won't fit the Origins' arms.
Although difference is indeed small, the 2nd head has a slight, but still noticeable, smirk. 🙂 I see some gold rub 'n' buff in my Keldor's future... those parts DESERVE to be properly covered in gold paint. 😃 I am actually glad that heads look so similar as I'm definitely using one to make a standard looking Keldor and with Revelation Skeletor going for $11 on BBTS, that will be a fairly cheap custom, even if the skin tones don't really match. Great review!

The slight smirk is probably what it is the more I look at it. Thanks for pointing that out. But it's not too much of a difference from the first head. Those gold parts can definitely use some real gold paint if you're up to it! BBTS is a good option to save money and make other cheap custom figures with two!👌

Congrats on the pick-ups for this Keldor figure. Yeah, I'm sucker for blue figures as well! It would have been cool if he had something else like a weapon of Staff!
Thanks for stopping in as always! Yeah, I think he is an important character and cool to see as a figure for the Masterverse series. But he is kind of bland compared to many other figures. But the body has potential for some custom options like I showed with other heads and parts. Congrats on getting your Preorder in with BBTS!👌
I have a few things to comment on. First off: an interesting figure, but one that sort of feels out of place to me personally. Looks more like he belongs with Marvel Legends or something. As some others have mentioned, the alternate head seems to have a slight smirk that differentiates it from the first one, but it’s so hard to notice. I do like the Horde Skeletor head and shroud on the King Keldor body! As far as the customizing and part-swapping goes, it’s perfectly understandable if you need to dial it back a bit. These figures are expensive, you shouldn’t have to risk damaging your figures just to show off how something may look. I’ve said it before that customizing isn’t really my thing, although I’m sure the customizers out there appreciate everything you do. I will share that I just recently finally opened the first wave of my Origins figures with my 3 1/2-year-old son because he’s really been showing interest in them and the Minis I have. I actually did record the whole experience but have yet to edit and upload it (not sure if anyone would really care four years after their initial release). I’ve already noticed that the part-swapping is not as easy as I thought it would be, and Origins is built upon the figures being modular. The heads, arms and torsos feel sturdy enough on the male figures, but I’m very wary of repeatedly pulling out and pushing in the hands and boots, especially on the female figures. The pegs are so small and in the case of the boots, they’re too close to the knees that I’m afraid of breaking them if I pull too hard. The muscles in my arms also aren’t as strong as they used to be due to a permanent herniated disc in my C4/C5 from a car accident a few years back. So even removing the heads and torsos are a bit of a challenge for me now. Anyway, great review as always! I really need to watch Revolution! Apparently, Keldor was voiced by William Shatner! ~Damon
Hey Damon! I appreciate you stopping by to check out this Keldor review and sharing all your thoughts on everything! Yes, I agree with you about this Keldor figure feeling a little out of place and more like a Marvell figure going back to his design and head sculpt. I think any fascination with this figure just goes back to his original roots of Skeletors' transformation and past. So it makes him an important part of the collection for those reasons for some collectors. His alternative head does have a little more of a smirk, the more I look at it. But it's not that noticeable to me! The Horde Skeletor head looks great on any Skeletor body. Yeah, I have to start being selective with certain figures when it comes to parts swapping because of time, and it's messing certain figures up now that I pulled apart many times. They are built well to play with. But not design to pull apart a hundred times. I only do it because so many like seeing that and are really into customizing or are curious about certain heads and parts from older figures on the newer figures or variants. I get that feedback a lot in the comments. I do what I can. But there's a limit now. I also suffer from lupus and degenitive arthritis and I'm in constant pain. I usually make editing cuts to pull parts off with heat if I can. It takes me a long time to film and edit laying down because of chronic health difficulties. Thanks great, you opened those Origins figures with your small son and filmed it. I'm also glad he's taking to the figures, and you get to connect with him with that line. It was the whole idea of releasing the origins line in the beginning. But many kids aren't that interested in seeing them at retail. It's more the adult collectors like us are what's driving this brand now.
Have him on pre order myself. Great pickup my friend. I am going play devil's advocate here. Why didn't mattel included a sword or a magic staff wand or something. Keldor is a king, therefore a king keldor should have came with at least a sword. That's my opinion. Overall he looks good and he is a must have though for Motu collectors for myself. Mattel should brought the heat on this keldor. Thanks for the video sir and glad you have him.

Hard-core MOTU collectors. He definitely should have come with a sword or staff, as you mentioned. And maybe a second head with an open mouth or more details instead of a little smirk. That's the only difference I now notice. I'm hoping for a new Eternia Keldor figure down the road with more accessories and attention. But I do like the body and robe look on this figure 👍
Passing on this figure now if they do a Eew Eternia Keldor i'd grab that for sure Second head has a smerk with the mouth crown is also different then the skeletek

In this wave, King Keldor definitely is the most bland. Second head has a slight smirk on it. They could've made that the regular head and gave him a full-on grinning expression. 🤔

Cool to have a keldor in masterverse, but it is kind of a bland figure. Loved revolution and what they did with the character, though. I think he should of cane with a younger head like the show.

@NerdicWarrior8920 So I tired the crown on the spare Viking He-man head with no Helmet, The first release Revelation He-man head. The New Revolution Battle Armor He-man head. The Masterverse Movie He-man head. No, the Crown doesn't fit because of the hair. It's not large or soft enough to push down. The first release He-man head was close. With a little heat, it might go down very tightly. I also tried the crown on the King grayskull figure. It fit perfectly on that head.
Not always! I go to Ebay or Paulmart to find the newest figures. I pay a higher cost to get newer stuff for review if I can for this channel. Thanks for watching!

With Revelations and Revolutions being a huge disappointment imo (from the Rise of Skywalker type of writing and wasted use of Hordak) can’t pull the trigger on these figures. Wouldn’t want to be reminded of disappointment in figure form.

I think many of these figures are really cool to add to the MOTU collection. I didn't like Revelations season 1 or 2. Maybe a few scenes here and there! But I have all the figures and just disconnect any ties to parts of the show I didn't like. I thought the Revolution was good!
