Amazing figure and great review AJ! I too really like Keldor from Revolution, and I think that the main reason I'd buy this figure is because of how good of a representation he is from that character. I wish he came with more accesories, like hands or even one of his gadgets, maybe another clothes even if he had to be a deluxe figure. But even without that many accesories, he still looks elegant and royal, just like he needs to be.
He does look great without the cape doesn’t he? I was considering getting another to display both heads simultaneously, one with the cape, one without.🙂
😄 I can definitely see what you mean. I think I remember someone teasing instead of Keldor, it was Bird-dor. But it definitely doesn't look like feathers at all in person. 🙂
Sorry to spoil that for you! 😬 But yes, William Shatner turned out to be an amazing choice as Keldor. I was so impressed (especially knowing he was around 90 years of age when he recorded it!) So good. 🙂
@@joshua2814 I agree and normally casting isn't considered a spoiler, but marketing seemed very unique in this case. Netflix not just wanted the character of Keldor under wraps, but who was playing him.🙂
Man, Mattel need to hire a better head sculptor, King Keldor was extremely good looking with amazing gold eyes, the figure needs a gold paint job and it will be very nice. I'm looking forward to the figure to iron the cape a made my custom job.
I think this figure is very cheap looking. He`s not very posable, the cape is extremely cheap, and the gold colour is a sort of milky yellow. What you love on King Keldor is a secret to my. But Simon is pleased that you like his artworks. I told him.
oh man, i really really LOVED seeing your collection of eternian royal family figures, aj ! 🥹🥰 regarding keldor, i think i can count on one hand how many keldor figures have actually ever been made, i think there was one in the classics line...so this might be the second time keldor's ever materialized in plastic. i dig the blue cape and the fur pelt because as you know i really like mixxed media figures. and keldor's two-faced nature is perfectly reflected with the inclusion of the second head with the smirking face - that's how i'm gonna display him, we just don't have enough bad guy figures with devilishly handsome smirking faces. i think the blue of keldor's face matches the blue of skeletech's skin very well. shame about the fewer articulation points tho. to me, articulation is the most important action feature but as you said aj, it is a great figure that does powerhouse keldor justice, which is everything a revolution fan could want in a figure. i think it looks more like the animated counterpart than battle-armor he-man did (and i LOVE that figure) thanks again for another wonderful and hilarious review ! 🫶🏽
How many "Keldor" figures exist versus a Skeletor with a Keldor head like Mondo's? Hmm. 🤔 Classics like you said. Origins has one in a 2-pack. I believe there was a 200x limited edition but I don't think that qualifies aa a figure. Three including King Keldor is my guess. 🙂 I agree, King Keldor definitely has a better animation model likeness than Battle Armor He-man. I'm hoping Masterverse finally nails that series He-man likenesses one day. If it takes a He-man and She-Ra twin 2-pack to do that, I'll gladly wait two more years. 😁
