Hey. Wanted to ask about beards in medicine. Like he has a big beard, does that pose to be an issue when trying ti get into competitive specialties lile radiology surgery etc?
It might be tbh. It's not so much if you're an average white guy but more so if you are brown or foreign looking in any way. I know two guys personally who didn't match with the beard and were even questioned about it. I do know many guys who matched with a big beard but they were all us grads.
