you’d probably hear this in one of those cyberpunk / sci-fi movies that take place in the distant future, where a robot starts singing a song which came from the past ngl
I could feel these themes from a cyberpunk ghibli movie, I'd hear a music edit with a film called Ghost in the Shell, It's more serious toned though with less of the charm and coziness you get from ghibli studios though (I might be miss-spelling it lel)
Ah, this is such a smart way to use a vocasynth! Make the song’s vibe a little off to match the off-color feel of the program. It’s a much better idea than having picture perfect instrumentals, because then the program sounds a lot worse by comparison, but having the instruments also be a little weird makes the whole feel so much more cohesive.
thank you very much!! im glad you like it, that's totally what i was going for! ^^ i wanted to do something a little different, elanore has the potential to do so many different things with her voicebank, i really wanted to try and pull it out of her. i think that vocal synths have such a distinct sound, its important to use instrumentals that match the vibe of the song, or even changing it to be a completely different feeling like i tried to do. thanks for the feedback, though! ^^
@@OliviaMeower Gosh, its so refreshing to see such an inventive perspective on this tech! I initially wrote off Elenor for her various cadence issues, but I recently found some really interesting ways that she could be used (there was a really nice sounding "bring me to life" cover featuring her, which is the last thing I expected anyone to do). I might pick up her lite version to try out, just to see what genres or styles she works best with. In the meantime though, have you heard of emvoice one? I've been messing around with the demo for Lucy and she's a dream to work with. Hopefully they bring their ridiculous price down at some point, but I'm just glad to see the tech evolving :0
thank you so much!! it's funny that you say that, because most of the instruments in this are actually samples from the mellotron! specifically the flute and choir sounds :D im glad you noticed!!
@@OliviaMeower thats what i was thinking but i wasnt sure if it actually was a mellotron. thats very cool :D i can't stop listening to this cover, its such a vibe
@@OliviaMeower Depeche mode? She drives me crazy, The End of the World, Private eye, Dancing Queen, Here Comes the Rain Again, Save a Prayer, Here Comes the Rain Again? No sure if you're looking for for that era of music.
This is insanely good. I get that this is probably ment to be unsettling, but i find it really soothing. This reminds me of staying up till dawn watching that one anime channel for adults.
god this slaps. been listening on repeat! this is my fav use of elanor so far! how'd you get her voice that way? i'm guessing upping the breathiness and tension?
I absolutely love this. I really enjoy the change in tone and I think the instrumentals sound really nice. This is just so pleasing to listen to. Me and my bestie are straight up jamming out right now. She says ‘hiii’. Your music is so nice and I enjoy it!
im so sorry this is like a year late omfg.... um but!!! I used the Redtron VST! :) most of the instruments in this song are using that plugin, it's supposed to have a similar sound to the mellotron keyboard :3 thank you sm!!
