Phenolic resins predate the space program by several decades. Bakelite was the first, developed in 1907 by a Belgian chemist. Lockheed didn't exist until 1926, whilst NASA came along in 1958 (the successor to the NACA that was created in 1915). G10 is an industrial standard originally set for the GRP used in circuit boards. Micarta is technically a trade name, but is generally used to any mean resin impregnated fabric.
