Ryan Duckering in old windows versions it was happening when you copying something, the progress bar was moving but remaining time was going up instead to drop.
@@nicholasmaslennikov2128 maybe not a complete good guy, but he's not a villain, at least. and raise your hand if you haven't downloaded movies via BitTorrent? (OK, all of you with your hands down, stop lying 😀.)
Wrong! Neo's pod would have blue-screened 30-seconds after the opening credits, forcing him to wake up immediately in the real world... which...would pretty much spoil the movie. "Why do my eyes hurt?" "You've never used the proper display drivers before."
11 years later in my recommendation just wow youtube Edit: 12 years guys I got it the comment is 1 year ago so of course it will be 12 years by now Edit: 13 or 14 years ago idk guys Edit: 15 years?
There isn't. Microsoft will just replace one crappy code, program or OS with an even crappier one. So, there is really no point in sending it. MS doesn't care whether you like it or not, they run the show and keep taking everyone's money.
Windows XP-Walks into coffee shop. Virus changes it into a strip club. Windows Vista-Walks into coffee shop. Coffee shop isn't open. Windows 7-Walks into coffee shop. Gets tea. Windows 8-Walks into coffee shop. Gets lost. Windows 10-Walks into coffee shop. Is stuck inside forever. OSX-Not allowed to go into coffee shop. Linux-Tries to figure how to open the door to the coffee shop. Chrome OS-There is no coffee shop.
AXP Bonecrusher Windows XP is actually the most stable operating system out there, next to windows 7. its your fault for browsing sites you shouldn't be and not having some kind of protection.
It is available, except it costs $499 (Where on windows you can get freeware software that works just as well and on Linux Distro's you can even get open source alternatives)
What is crazy is the fact XP had more options and features than Windows 11. I remember when audio setting allowed you to tweak everything about your speakers, the only options you have in Windows 11 is a "settings" page that takes up the entire screen that only has a single option you're allowed to tweak and that's a scroll bar for the volume. Not to mention, Windows 11 knows more about you after using it for only five minutes than if you spent a lifetime in the matrix.
@@Ashes2Ashes_Blush2Blush when I look back at what RU-vidrs like during my high school years in 2006 to 2011, it used to be so awesome where we can all make videos. The videos would actually get famous by people around the world are channels had comments and bulletins just like Facebook and MySpace we had options to make her own background of the transparency behind it having titles on our channel descriptions and have messages and the videos were really good and innovative, and it was overall an amazing site fast forward today and it’s far too liberal. It’s far too conservative with both of them fighting at war all you see you in scrolling as sexual contact like girls, Twerking, and making sexual dancing Tik Tok videos 10,000 people doing the exact same trend over and over and it’s far too liberal where we have very limited speech
Arch FTW! In no other distro will complete newbies be able to successfully finish the installation process, yet still be plagued for months afterward by strange technical bugs they don't understand caused by their ineptness! Now if you'll excuse me, my computer keeps suspending itself.
at least it isn't vista "you are now logging into the matrix." "are you sure you want to log into the matrix?" "are you sure that you're sure that you want to log into the matrix?" "please grant administrator access to log into the matrix." "are you sure you want to grant administrator access to log into the matrix?"
''Sooner or later we all encounter an error, Neo. You will have to make a choice: to send an error report, or not to send one... but... is there a difference?"' :D
XP set a standard that 7&8 continue to emulate. XP 64 Bit is still considered one of the most stable 64bit platforms ever made. Linux users even respect XP.
I come back to this video every so often and it still makes me laugh. The characters look totally spot-on. Whoever cast these actors did a fantastic job. The actors all sound like their movie counterparts, the humor is good, the shot quality is good. Everything about it is good. Top quality parody.
It would be impossible to uninstall the bluetooth drivers, even if the Matrix works over optic fiber. It would share your memories with Amazon by default. Sound would work fine, but with a stack of 3 different drivers. We would still be waiting for the smartphone version of the matrix. It would be a lot more difficult for the team to hack it, leaving Neo as an unprivileged user by default.
"There comes a time in your life when you reach an error. And you must make a choice: either send an error report or don't send and error report, but in the end does it really make a difference?
ATM windows 7 is the most stable, and the most used, Then its windows 8 which is really good but people hate on it for no reason. Then its XP. Then its 98 Then its 95 Then its this then its that *hours later* then its windows vista then its Mac OS X Then its Lin... *BSOD*
***** windows 8 has plenty of reasons to hate on it. It runs on my desktop and wont work with a few games and programs, and is generally a bitch to figure out.
I was using XP until 2012. It truly is one of the best OS' s ever made. sure, it's outdated now, but it held up really well for the past decade. I was playing Steam games on it, I was watching 720p RU-vid videos on it. it really held up well. not to mention that it had charm to it, with the iconic wallpapers and the little easter eggs hidden in the OS. I remember finding an ASCII Star Wars video on the computer. Windows 7 was better, even though it lost a bit of charm, and now we have Windows 8.1, which has completely ruined the start menu, made it harder to operate and even crammed it with bloatware. XP is still my favourite OS. I know it's outdated, but it was the best OS when you compare OS' s to the time of release.
+Niceguy3210 i think thats partly nostalgia speaking and considering the fact how much time you spent on it also says a lot about the subjective opinion of your comment, im not saying your wrong but it seems to me that youre trying to state a fact here based on opinions
And what is the point of this comment? You watched it after it was uploaded. Ok. It would be impressive if it was the other way around and it was published in 2019 and you watched it in 2008. But with it published in 2008 and you watching in 2019, that's not so impressive.
@@IchCharacter i know, he said the progress bar is moving notice there is a "but" that mean the previous was negative compare to the next line that mean his progress bar is decreasing, that's my theory
I don't get it guys. windows xp is actually known for being extremely efficient, that's why even nowadays many corporations and banks haven't upgraded from it
Puque Quat Windows 2000 is my favourite OS after Windows 7. Really stable and I can't remember any blue screen encounters. The only problem was its incompatibility many games. I almost managed to forget ME ever existed until you mentioned it. Thanks for ripping open old wounds ;( :P
It's called virtue signalling, look it up and it'll explain why so many comedians forget they're supposed to be funny and decide to force an agenda down our throats instead.
Most of the BEST comedians were extremely political and made their jokes and their names on "agendas". What is George Carlin's infamous "Seven Dirty Words" if not a political statement about Conservative "values" at that time? Bill Hicks? His entire performance was just his agenda, his point of view. Lenny Bruce. Chris Rock. Dave Chappelle. Bill Burr. Louis C. K. ...I could go on... You're kind of stupid, aren't you? You really didn't notice, did you? You must be extremely thick-skulled.
Noe Bodi I never found Jeff Foxworthy funny because his humor is too safe. There's no risk taken. Everyone hates Trump, so nothing new or interesting is being done when you make fun of him, you're just saying to the world "Hey look at me, I fit in!" Also, when you have to assume someone else's intelligence in an argument, it means you're wrong, so you resort to petty insults.
+sarcastic bowl of cornflakes Where I live there is litterally an unconcealed USB port that they use to program it. And noeone are allowed to see if you tinker with the machine.
macronencer that's why I rarely use ATM's. I always go in and talk to the teller. I've had those damn things almost chop my fingers off getting cash out.
.... And waste time with crappy software that lack functions. I agree that Linux as OS loading speed is better than Win or (probably) any other (didn't compare). You can buy a complete car, or you can make it your self. If your aim is just to have a car as a tool, without deep knowledge of the Inside, you buy it from supplier and use it. If your goal, however, is to make your own car (for whatever reason) then you waste your time on that activity.Matter of preferences. I just posted a comment about remembering a joke. You are being a fan-boy here...
Vladimir V. Ubuntu takes nearly no config whatsoever. Installation, that's it really, but it still doesn't take all night. Unless you want to have Arch, then I am not surprised
On June 25, 2018, the time between this video being posted and the present will be equal to the time between the Matrix being released and this video being posted.
Good, fuck today's teenagers. Only good thing about today's teenagers is knowing they'll die in a car accident while live streaming their ride to school.
This was 10 years ago, maybe it's only because it hasn't held up all these years, or because numerous jokes about The Matrix have been made since then, but even this isn't that funny. To me CollegeHumor was funny when it was just a small, mostly user-submitted site, back in the early 2000s (which interestingly, was when I was in college lol). Maybe it's because it was actually college based humor, as opposed to now, where they are just yet another site making (bad) parodies about pop culture.
"Hope you have cookies enabled", is such a memorable and amazing line in this amazing video. It is just epic. The heroically stupid epic tragic irony of her saying that while cooking cookies in a windows-xp run matrix, makes it one of those lines for the ages that needs to be preserved for generations to come, it's like the most memorable lines Shakespeare ever wrote put together. Alas poor yorick you got nothin' on this. And yet..... it's still not even the most epic line of this video. That honor belongs to "Sooner or later, we all encounter an error. You will have to make a choice. To send an error report, or not to send it. But, is there a difference?" THAT RIGHT THERE, THAT is windows xp!
Guys, come one. This isn't a commentary about Windows vs another operating system. It's just saying how absurd it would be to run the matrix on real life technology. All the jokes are relevant, despite the overall integrity of the system.
