Watch Matt Centrowitz lead a star-studded field at Stumptown Twilight, which included Edward Cheserek, Andrew Wheating, Andy Bayer, and more. bit.ly/28YlFWx
The announcers literally knew nothing about these guys haha. Chad noelle instead of josh thompson and they mixed up some other ones as well. Engels also isnt from texas, north carolina would be correct.
This commentating was god awful. Do they even know what Chad Noelle looks like or are they just throwing random names and buzz words? Also Luc Bruchet? Are you kidding me?
That's what I'm saying!! The majority of flotrack content is usually 800m and up. Hardly do I ever see in depth coverage in the shorter races... If there is any, it is usually very little..
+Chiminh Vue I'm subscribed to Fast Misha's channel and it does have sprint coverage, but a lot of it is at the international level, not collegiate. I just wanna know why the sprint scene is so dry on this channel. I like watching distance events though. They can be just as entertaining!
the announcers are terrible. they can't even remember what they say from the start of the race till the end. according to what the announcers claim at the 0:41 mark "3:36.2 is the olympic standard". the winner comes in with a time of over 3:37 which means no one in the field met the standard, yet listen to them starting at the 4:00 mark "35, christian soratos with the big close right now can he get under the standard?" how exactly are you asking if anyone can get under the standard if the winner didnt even make it under the standard?
