Matt Riddle Addresses His Heat With Brock Lesnar & Goldberg 

Look up his heat with Dana White, that is why he is out of WWE. Dana has been quoted as saying that he despises Riddle and that he'll never work in UFC again. I find it ironic that he was released right after the merger was official.

This is my first time seeing Matt Riddle out of character, so I had high hopes on seeing a normal, sensible guy. Turns out that he is just the same as his in ring persona.

Say whatever you want about the guy... he's talented as fuck. Some people just get in their own way and some people come to terms with that and get out of their own way. I dont know everything pertaining to his heat but im rooting for him to be his best self and carve out a legacy for him in this business.

I don't really keep up with WWE these days so I'm out of the loop on Matt Riddle for the most part. But now that he's branching out to other promotions I watch It'll be interesting to see what he's all about. Really the only thing I know about him is UFC got rid of him for repeatedly testing positive with THC, and he wrestles without shoes, which seems pretty risky cause matches leave the ring all the time.

I got into indie wrestling and wwe again because of Riddle but the bloodline story and release had me slowly lose interest. I've branched out to AEW and prefer it much more over E, hopefully Riddle heads there.

Matt is simply a Heat magnet because of how he looks and lives his life. I don’t think it has anything to do with anything other than. The fact is, he’s the essential, West Coast surfer dude. Even if he’s not, that’s how he looks and that is the attitude he portrays. he is a down to earth, fun loving, happy person, who doesn’t take life seriously and part in the cannabis, smoking arts here and there. Which, for anybody who takes life too seriously… He is a problem. I face it every day, and I’ve been an entertainer. all of my life. There are people in this earth if they do not like to see other people, happy and living their lives the way they want to. Therefore, they have to try to bring them down to their level to make them as miserable as they feel. When they can’t accomplish that, that’s when peoples mouth start moving and they start talking BS about others to others. Which just makes them look worse and like a child in middle school. Matt, keep being who you are and never let anybody around you bring you down. Because, they’re just jealous of the life you live in the person you are, and they want something that they see you, but they don’t have it inside themselves. And they don’t know how to get it. much respect.

Matt Riddle legit got me back into wrestling after around 10 years of not being interested - imagine how disappointed I was when he was released - I am no longer watching, just waiting for his next move.

Riddle is one of those people who would get very annoying to have a long conversation with. he seems more interested in what he is saying. he was also clearly high during this interview.

I did not like Matt's gimmick at all. Wherever he goes, I hope he retains his normal personality as opposed to the stoner one. That plus he doesn't seem like a bad dude.
