This clip is taken from en episode of Doctor Who Confidential called 'What goes on tour' and features Matt Smith on a press tour visiting his old school and a funny bit with Karen Gillan stalking Matt during an interview.
@@thejfoshow1320 The line in DOTD was a reference to previous episodes where the Doctor has said as much upon meeting his future self. The first Doctor to use the line was 2.
The moment when you return to your school just to show your old teachers how bowtie cool you have become and just in general to let yourself get celebrated. XD
I mean, with every little success in my life I think back to my ninth grade teacher who told me I'd never even finish school with my attitude. I'm sure Matt also had some teachers he needed to prove wrong ^^
i hope i can go back to my school one day followed with a camera crew and a huge meetup one day. show all of those slightly miserable children that they can grow up and be whoever they want.
@@JT-pv2nj It makes perfect sense. The original comment is the one that doesn't make sense. Children doesn't have to be both boys and girls. It can apply to only boys or even only girls. It just means group of people typically 12 and under. I say typically because teens up to 17 are also often included in that. Plus I know a lot of people who will call anyone younger than they are a kid even when they're fully grown adults with kids of their own. Anyway, point is it doesn't make sense why they wouldn't be called children just because they're all boys. They're still clearly children.
0:39 - I _was_ going to comment that Matt Smith is one of the few exceptions to my lesbianism, but damn, that's his _mother_? Is that whole family just _made_ of hotness!?
Miss him as the doctor (he really captured innocence and playful youth while also playing a plagued older alien who felt haunted with guilt and self inflicted loneliness, only watched the show for him) but i knew he was destined for greatness
Even though I live in America, I wish I could go to that school. I love DW, and to go to Matt's school would be an honor!!! You kids at that school are LUCKY!!!!!!
I love how all the Americans are like " omg I want to go Northampton it would be such an honour!" like I went there yesterday to get tea with my mates and literally walked past that school 😂

I want go back in time, turn in to a boy, teleport to this school, attend it, and meet Matt Smith. Unfortunately, I can’t regenerate and I don’t have a TARDIS, so I’ll just go and fangirl cry in the corner.
I'm going to go into science and ask questions about doctor who Like if I could find the tardis If silence are real When the next time a dalex is going to invade the earth
I bet he would've reacted quite differently if he hadn't been one of those "popular kids at the canteen table" during his tenure there. He's privileged.
He looked so happy, i mean that school probably got him to where he is now :) That and Drama School. Hopefully im that lucky one day hope you all follow your dreams and get what you want in life
