Hey, why did they gave you for free? I’m thinking buying the Mavic 3 and some accessories but the ND filters are expensive. If I can get it for free, it would be awesome😅
I'm doing more photography with my videos now. What is your take on my thought to upgrade from Phantom4 Pro2 and Air2s to the Mavic 3 Pro. How much more productive would the editing be? This is a big investment, will I notice that much difference in the results? For video I'm very happy with the Air2s, and it is in the bag with my Z7 and three lenses everywhere I go. GOOD JOB ON THE TUTORIALS.
I’m gonna tell you that the zoom lens on the mavic 3 makes it worth it. It’s a 121mm focal length and that alone makes it worth it. Not to mention all the other features as well
UV is not useful in digital cameras. Circular polarizers are great for landscapes but not all that useful with a wide angle camera. Also, polarizers aren't useful when photographing directly away from the sun and have some limitations, but also uses, photographing toward the sun as they can reduce or eliminate reflections; a thing that can make water photographs a bit unusual since you can see into the water (fish or whatever) and not see the surface.
I've been filming and photographing with my Dji Mavic 3 for a year now, and I use ND filters, shoot in RAW and film in LOG. But when it comes to color grading, its always demotivating. I really dont feel that I'm able to get good colors, and sometimes it makes me wonder if the ND filters makes this harder? What are your experiences when it comes to that?
I feel ya. I used to film d log but couldn’t get the colors I wanted so I switched to HLG for MOST of the time and was able to get wayyyyyy better colors in post. Give that a try
@@VentiViews if you watch my latest video “Fra våronn til innhøsting», you’ll see the result from last time😁 I might have found out something. But still a struggle.
"but NOT in photo mode!" Enable RAW photo capture; basically the same thing; it captures everything on the sensor. How you color grade it is up to you. Generally a RAW is linear, not logarithmic, but since the sensor is inherently linear, RAW linear is best, no in-camera adjustment at all.
@@thomasmaughan4798 the problem is the auto sharpnes from the drone it self. I know raw is raw but there IS a huge auto sharpes heppening. Thats a pain if it comes to post production.
@VentiViews I've seen plenty of reviews of ND filters since I've been in the hobby the last six years. Most reviews rated both Freewell and PolarPro filters as providing better performance than DJI filters. Not that DJI's filters are bad. Just overpriced like all their accessories.
@VentiViews Had never heard of it before. Seems extreme Professional. I just bought a Maivc 3 and are looking at these. Great idea! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iPJpBSNWmm8.html
