Nado druids are my favorite class. I always go max block 99 fcr for HC. The random nature of nados is good for pvp since they go all over the place

Earlier, i've played Ele Druid for many years and i can say, its the most powerful PVP Character in D2. With good namelock skills and an eye on your zoo + cyclone, you are almost unbeatable. Like he said, strong ES fire Sorcs and top Hybrid Assa's can be problem some times, but thats it.

Yo. Skilling 1 werebear + shockwave, in combi with 1 to volcano has several benefits! :) Its inzane as a combination to trigger stun swirl upon enemy, which totally stun the enemy automaticly with hurricane within next attack, and can stop any kind of inzane wsg attemps for enemies as u trigger them to selfsync then with volcano. On a low level u have to sacrifice a little, the sacrifice should be the snakes, and if need oak level. If oak level is a total of level 37 or 42 or whatever matter little. That life is just a number on a paper, infact oak dies usually before u take any dmg at all. The few exceptions are zerk and smite and dt/dc stomps. Another important idea is that wiz uses 86fhr break, as its not a swinging wep. Frw is also highly usefull on ele dru as it has bad fhr frames. Here is my prefered build, it uses bug belt/eni of dragon/sop, yet its still viable with normal items for d2r. Just not as good. There are also different ring choices and boots choices to maintain max res on cta+sop side. Gel87's ele druid: FPK and anti mindblast immune setup: Combine with Eni of Dragon and SoP. Formula for MB dmg is: Min dmg=((2*Slvl+8)*(GESTEP(GSlvl)-GESTEP(Slvl;9))+(5*Slvl-16)*(GESTEP(Slvl;9)-GESTEP(Slvl;17))+(8*Slvl-64)*(GESTEP(Slvl;17)-GESTEP(Slvl;23))+(8*Slvl-64)*(GESTEP(Slvl;23)-GESTEP(Slvl;29))+(8*Slvl-64)*(GESTEP(Slvl;29))) For max dmg u can just add 10. Which means: Forexample lvl 41 gives this dmg: 264-274 274*0,17 = 46 So by adding 46 direct dr ur basicly mindblast immune, and the duel would be way easier. Adding %DR is not very usefull due to the fact that it happens after direct dr. So basicly each sol gives 7dr. So a 20fcr/3soc SolSolSol is not enought. (21) So you need a 25dr helm with 3 soc: SolSolCham + EoDragon add 7 (46 exactly) Full setup: 39 direct dr diadem EoDragon (5max LR + 7direct dr) SOP (5max LR and 10max FR) Arach 10fcr, str, life, 11@ ring 10fcr, str, life, 11@ ring Shadows or 30/10/3resi or 30/20/lr adds prepatch 2/19/life/20@ ammu magefists(trangs if u have cold res issues) wiz or suicide (7fhr/add/10@/8life) or (7fhr/15@) 20/20 torch 20/20 annie atm we are at 164fcr. Shadows 30 + spirit 55 fhr = 85fhr So you need to add scs or sks with fhr. If wiz im pretty sure, but not 100% sure it has 86fhr requirement, same with cta crystal sword... I dno^ Go 86 or 99 via charms. On switch ur res is: 20(annie) + 20(annie) + 50(scs) + 30(anya) + 22@ rings(possible) + 20@ ammu = 162.. So possible might be prepatch 30/20/lr/adds boots or added single res in fr and lr(1 each ring, but is hard to find). Or change skillers with scs with resists. (4 needed  ) Psn is also a needed res. When bo'ed by others both suicide and wiz will make u have enought res both sides. The direct dr will basicly: - Take away most physical kick dmg, maby even all. (not all, but some. A ghost/trap with upped gores/shadows has like 700-850 physical dmg. 850 * 0,17 = 144 - Make u immune to mindblast dmg, and even when swirled mindblast wont trigger the stun effect, but it has a chance to KB which stuns, and hits from traps will stun since ur not immune there. Still awsome mobility contra normal setups... You still need to wsg, but easier to offense and tele out and even run/walk. - Take away all/most physical dmg from shadow master - Don't know if it affect ow - Not 100% sure how it affect CB - Ghost/Hybrids usally have a rather low direct physical dmg. Lets say 2000 on a strong build, its usually way lower on not so perfect/exspensive claws. 2k is like 300%ed/fools/eth LOLO claw with 10 x 322s on a 102fcr build. 2000 * 0,17 = 340. A fpk druid usually have at most 36% dr, so he would take: 170, meanwhile this build take: 294. A spider might end up dealing 0 physical dmg on wirl to u. Not saying this is a build which is super vs all, but its the best i can come up with for vs assas. As long as teammate bo you and u have perf(11@ res in rings etc) u should have end up with 182@ with 2 x 10@ soc suicides. 7fhr/15@ would give you 187 and 2 x wiz would give u full 85 res with stack. Physic hammer is usually never put more than 1 skill into. And lets say assa is a ghost and has 9 shadow sks, they usually have 10 or 11 assa/all skills. lvl 20 physic hammer deals: 28-39 physic dmg (already immortal vs this) 28-39 magic dmg (39*0,17 = 6,63(rounds down to 6). So as long as ur sop has above 7magic absorb ur immune to this, even as a 1 lifed char, meanwhile a char with more than 4 life left would take 0 dmg even with total of 3 magic abs. However spirit will heal vs this if high. Chaos has: 216-461 magic dmg. U wont be able to fully neagate this, but u bring it down with sprit. (216+461)/2 = 57 57 - (8*2) = 41. By having rare 30frw/fhr/pldr you will also stand taller vs assas psn dmg given by: SM Venom (wirl, kick, bladeshield) Change eq vs other types: Exspensive: Helm: 2dru, 20fcr, 30frw, life, 20@, 2 soc ChamBer Armor: Eni Scarab Belt: Bug belt / Dungo Cheap: Helm: coa cham ber Armor: Eni Belt: arach Skilling: 1 raven 1 spirit wolf 1 dire wolf 1 grizzly 18 oak(last maxed) 1 werebear 1 maul 1 shockwave 1 firesorm 1 fissure 1 moulten boulder 1 volcano 1 artic blast 20 cyclone armor 20 twister 20 nado 20 hurricane Statting: 0 str 0 dex (maby a few for wiz, but -15req jools can be used) all vita 0 energy

Max cast and the fhr BP are huge factors in a good end game pve wind druid build as well.

The main issue I have with max block is that you lose the block when using weapon switch glitch. Abusing WSG and high FRW+str glitch is crucial at the top level of pvp, I'd like to see you make a video on this actually.

with the shield, 2 um runes for +44 to all resistances woulda left u 2 slots to add 2 shaels for +40% faster block rate

Actually putting 1 point into wearbear + 1 into shockwave gives you the unique ability to stun your opponents when you're going up against higher skilled casters like good sorcs or necs. Very common atleast in EU and far away from useless :)

I'd have to say that the Windy is probably the most consistently dominant PvP Character, rivaled possibly only by a very skilled Bone Necro. However, even in that matchup the Wind Druid easily has the advantage. Also Bone Necro has to play more defensively in many matchups to succeed. The minion stack alone gives the druid the ability to play much more offensively, not to mention all of it's other benefits (Oak Sage, Hurricane, Cyclone Armor)...

Thoughts on using a 2 shaeld coa on the max block side… I don’t own a 2 20 circ so I have wizspike as a weapon. If I have to give up the 55 fhr I get 70 from the coa. And some res and some dr…. A skill… and only use with SS so I always have the str to use. It’s prolly not as good as a move but I think it’s a compromise. Could also shael and um the coa… get 50 fhr and 30 all res… in the end tho I found a 2 open socket 5 nado 4 hurricane with 10 fhr. So I double shaeld it and now I’m pimp not matter what… but yeah… wizspike is the down side… I’d use the wand but it lacks the res as I’m usually fighting a caster ele build and I have a max block set up so the dex req on wiz isn’t big deal… anyways just some ideas…

How about a 3 to elemental skills 2os helm. Not as many stats but an extra skill toward Nado cyclone and hurricane! Llama does this with his necro. It’s interesting option if you can’t afford the 2/20 2os rare. Jw how big of a difference it would make

I always used to play that character pvp but don’t think I ever really payed attention to the bps altho I had really expensive gear. Would love to see what I could have optimized and getting back into d2 pvp again.

How do you get your dex so low for 75% chance to block?

Well Druid do have the lowest hit recovery out of all the classes so that's what you could be feeling there

Wizspike is so much better then branch... You can get 90 all resist with fhr and 50 fcr... You lose 3 all skill but get 3 from nado helm... So you get a extra 50 res and same dmg with wiz. Please tell me how much better circlets are again? Je
