While I was in Taiwan over Christmas 2023, I dropped in to Max Gear Models in New Taipei City to check out their showroom. Quite an impressive selection of models and well worth the visit if in Taiwan.

Privet Rob, i watched recenty one of your old videos, the one with the Pagani zonda gr race car, can you Tell me please what paint stripper did you used for stripping the paint and clear coat apart from a resin model without melting/disolvinh the resin ? Did you used isopropyl* alcohool* ?
I used a water based paint stripper but it did start to melt the resin. I had to soak it in water for a week to dilute and prevent further damage. There are NO paint strippers for resin that work to my knowledge. Sand the old paint away, that is the safest way, or repaint over existing paint.
@@ROBSMODELCARS i’ve seen on Reddit the isopropyl alcohool its the safest one for resin/plastic Probably the resin is melting due to the acetone existence in the paint stripper
