Y'know how each game generation has that graphical feature that devs use a little too much, like bloom? I think particle effects might be this generation's, considering how this and demon's souls remake looks.
The icing on cake is going to be mission 13 on legendary dark knight mode. I really fucking hope they also improve multiplayer too (so we don't have to keep playing mission 13), like co op bloody palace, but I don't think that's happening.
Definitely be picking this up AGAIN on the ps5. DMC5 is one of my top 5 games and the fact they are doing a special edition for DMC5 is great. Loved playing as Vergil in DMC4 SE so looking forward to playing him in DMC5 SE
Vergil's theme song is insanely good! I can't wait for the whole song to be released, anyone know when that might be? Seriously, it might even be better than Devil Trigger!

Yeah. Specially because we knew there is more than just vergil. The thing is that the new gen of consoles is literally right here. They cannot miss this. I won't be surprised if they do a "update" of this SE and add the extra stuff that was rumored.
@@ThiagoCRocha-fh6lg well the scene with vergil and dante is not the credit scene. and there's a quick one where vergil is spinning around with yamato flying everywhere, that cutscene is also new. also obviously there's a scene of nero's disarming from vergil's POV. so there's new story bits. also I'm not sure if that scene with trish and lady was new.

This character is so fucking cool, all the "angst teenager" tropes mixed to perfection, the voice actor himself sounds like a edgy teenager (and I bet the dude is in his 40s or something)
It does a lot for the technical side because things like shadows and reflections happen naturally with tracing and have basically no effect on performance. It doesn't do much on the fidelity side.
We are getting story too, a lot of cutscenes in that trailer are brand new and look like they are in alpha stage. Capcom is telling is one is in the works, which is why its taken this long to come out.
Seeing Max happy always makes me happy. Been hitting some tough times but all his videos always help. Keep on shining, Max, thank you for all your work and who you are. Cannot wait for this!
I am just absolutely so happy Vergil is once again back!!! So damn excited, Vergil looks so damn badass, I really do hope though that there is more to it than just Vergil and all the SE goodies, we will find out next week hopefully.
@Nameless Lucia always has been snubbed due to her being in the blunder of the franchise. But one thing that’s for sure is that her DT is the most beautiful looking and the most diverse from the cast and it also housed the strongest form of Dante to ever exist. The Majin form which IMO is still better looking than sin dt. It’s a shame that Dante refuses to use it anymore because he lost control of his humanity and tortured a child...
@Zeta_Legion Then having those bosses becoming unlockable devil arms that can be used in any mode. Then can use this as an incentive for casuals to explore and play bloody palace!
I was actually thinking back when Max was playing the marvel avengers game it could actually work if they made DMC V as a live service where they just add missions and characters like Trish, Lady, and Vergil. Fighting old bosses from other games, doing team combos with your friends, they could even make Lucia better with how things are now. This games combat and story were so good that I would love to keep coming back like Monster Hunter although this looks great as well.
They gonna make me buy this game a second time..WORTH IT also I know they didn’t say it but is it possible they add COOP with that clip of Dante and Vergil fighting side by side I know it could be nothing just still Imagine this game with REAL multiplayer
I got into DMC a bit ago, I played the characters in MvC but never played the games until then. Currently trying to finish DMC2 then it’s on to 3, 4 and 5 😂

This Game has something a lot of Games are missing today, pure Fun because of good Gameplay instead of a shit ton mechanics like looting and leveling to stretch the Games length.
I'm excited that Vergil is coming back, once again, with the special edition. Little pissed off though that PC doesn't seem to be worth Capcom's time though with them only adding Vergil as DLC and not even the rest of the SE modes. Like, why do you want to take 2 steps forward and 10 steps back?
Food for thought: when dante uses SDT he stabs himself with Dante, so in that same vein Vergil becoming V when he stabs himself might be *his version of SDT*
@Isrel156 vs Ashley doesn't use a regular Devil Trigger it's actually Sin Devil Trigger.. through combination of his demon half eating the fruit and Regaining His Humanity after The Fusion... therefore Virgil ironically became even more powerful after Becoming Whole Again despite initially discarding his Humanity
I mean....super late but the thing is that their swords have different powers that are opposites. Yamato can "split" souls, forcibly creating two new beings from one if they are half demon, half hoooman. Rebellion can "condense" souls, simply merging the different aspects into a whole one. So...yeah, it is basically the same process but lenghtier for Vergil.

Whose gonna tell em that everything in that special edition that’s on the ps5 version of dmc5 that isn’t Vergil being playable, isn’t going to pc? And that Vergil is going to all platforms as dlc?
Yeah, I feel like the faster frame rates, LDK mode and Ray Tracing is pretty much the only selling point DMC 5 SE has on PS5 since Vergil will be DLC. And people say Vergil is gonna get new missions, but it's looking AWFULLY like the base game story missions playing as Vergil again. I love higher frame rates, but that's not a good enough reason to get a PS5 especially when you also have to account some other "PS5 exclusives" coming to PS4 anyway, and honestly no one should get the console for another year or so til it's refined.
They will surely replace DMC5 with DMC5 SE on PC, like they did with DMC4. Question is if they're gonna pull off a Special Edition kit upgrade, like they did with SFV....or like old times, buy the DMC5 SE in general lol.
