@Fufu my cockatiel has a major meltdown if I leave his sight. Screams “Mommy!” At the top of his lungs over and over again. It’s part of being a bird owner. They’re dependent upon us for everything and they have strong bonds with their humans ✌🏼I do not recommend anyone get a bird unless they fully know what they’re getting into. It’s a lifetime (and beyond) commitment and they will drastically change your lifestyle. ✌🏼

That's just how they are anyways even in the wild. Watch groups of wild cockatoo. They're a demanding group for attention and food, if people start catering to them. It's as if "We're the gods, you're mere humans, serve us". Funny how certain types of animals are that way.

I get it. I have Lupus past 20 yrs. Seldom leave my home. I am on pain meds and fall at times. Recently broke and dislocated my left shoulder. The break will need to heal. It will remain dislocated and I lose range of motion. The Lupus rejects the hardware needed to repair dislocation. I took anti rejection meds for knee surgery in 2095. It turned out to be a mess and very long recovery. Thinking of you!

Well, he does make some valid points. There's kindling to be made. Paper to be ripped. Snoopy needs a few tosses. Mr.Smiley needs to be hidden from Dan. He needs to count his earnings from his kindling and paper shredding business. There's just no time for bed. He is also clearly against bedtime.

They are very sensutive creatures and get stressed over any sudden changes to their routine. They normally bond with only 1 person in the home and Max feels rejected when Dan has to leave him with even people he knows that know him,as in his loving family. Ive got 1 cockatoo that gets stressed over a males voice so bad from being traumatized that he will start plucking his feathers if he hears or sees a man..he was in a house fire at hislast home and the firefighters scared him moving his cage in such a hurry. Thats how i ended up with him in my rescue. He has been rehomed at least 3 times in his life and that stresses them too. I dnt even allow men inside my home.

Hi 🙋... Daddy Dan 🤠 doesn't get out enough . Max 👁️ isn't used to not having daddy Dan 🤠 tuck him in at bedtime. Even with Grams 👵 and Pappy👴 there . Just a typical toddler 😆 I think Max 👁️is saying He wants to stay up until daddy Dan 🤠 comes home He's looking at the driveway 🤗

@@userinpa1615 l always wonder how the birdsitters manage to get Max in his cage for the night, eventually. Max and Dan have a routine to do so, l guess. But as children would do, Max tries to stay up beyond bed time when the family is there. I showed this video ( and others) to my Ma and she was telling the stories from when her grandchildren were coming over to spend the night and all of the tricks they tried to stay up longer. 😉😄 Temperatures are down here, last couple of days, thanks to periods of heavy rain showers. @@carinagryp6264 😆 I think all grandkids have done something to be able to stay awake when away from home especially @ grandmas and that probably is just because all kids know they can basically get away with almost anything when with their grandparents. Grandparents are the fun police and give their grandkids that extra piece of candy/cake etc... that they normally wouldn't of been able to have if @ home with their parents. Your so lucky the temps cooled down for yous were hitting triple digits today a few more higher then yesterday. I believe @ 6:26 AM here now is 90⁰ already. We do have a day or two this week that we are supposed to get some rain, but even @ that I don't know if it's going to help. Although I hope so. Enjoy the rest of your day. 🙏
