May 1961, Peter Lawford & Patricia Kennedy Lawford in France 

THANKS FOR THIS! I did not know Peter Lawford could parlez vous francais....I'm a huge fan for colorful reasons....

Peter spent his early childhood years in France - thus his ability to speak the language. His British accent is a bit heavy here, but he does fully understand what is being asked and responds appropriately.

I've always liked him despite his faults.

Poor Peter, that family swallowed him whole and spit him out chewed to pieces. Peter should have been treated better by the family but he did treat his wife terribly. Jack liked Peter, so Jackie tried to stay close to him after the divorce but Patricia hated that. She was not having it. I noticed that Pat didn’t talk to the reporter. I bet she wouldn’t, Pats French was terrible! But I loved the stripe in the hair Patty-Cake, very Fifties. Although it was 1961! ❤️👍👏

@sidrahsiddiqui , you are aware that he was used by Sinatra just for his connection to the Kennedys? Lawford kept his mouth shut about what he knew, and died a slow, painful death. Lawford was used throughout his entire career by people who threw him away when he was no longer convenient (i.e. when he couldn't provide them with inroads with the Kennedys anymore). Do a little research, and you'll discover he was no saint, but he was no worse than his "friends".

It’s a shame that Lawford’s mother screwed him up so badly, with her disdain for him and lack of any love/affection for him. He never had a chance.

On ne sait pas pourquoi la Kennedy a épousé Peter Lawford... pour sa belle gueule? Sûrement pas son talent car il était un piètre acteur. Bref, elle n’était pas très jolie et a du être flattée mais comme tout ce qui a trait aux Kennedy tourne à la tragédie, le mariage comme le reste, n’a pas duré
