Reminds me a lot of Matthew’s 7:13-14 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

i think youtube recs are reading my mind because just earlier today, i came to the realization to change my grad school specialization to something data-related, despite the fact i've always thought i hated math. i sat with myself and realized, i have fear surrounding the subject because of childhood failures that have created decade-long insecurity. and i need to face that fear
