Replaced injector washers yesterday after watching video. Thanks for this help, never worked on any fuel system since SU carburettors many years ago ,was so easy after your video.
@@MrNiceGuy94 Ah I see just pulled injectors and they were thick with oil thought there were maybe seals missing. But obviously due to the state of the oil squirter and cams that must have been the cause as the whole top end was thick with black carbon/oil/gunge. Got everything stripped out and cleaned and all the gunge out of the top end just need to work out how to get rid off all the rest of the black gungy residue 🤷♂️. Any advise would be much appreciated Thanks Ewan.
@@ewanreynolds8163if the valve train and the stem of the injectors are covered with soot, the crush washer has been leaking combustion pressures and exhaust into the valve cover , the crush washer will need to be replaced and all cleaned up
@@davidl6041 Yeah mate this was the case the copper washers had oval holes in the middle and had been leaking for some time as the whole top end was cacked in black sludge. Had to remove cams and lifters and clean everything total ball ache 🤦♂️
