These passionate guys are spending their hard earned helping painters, mechanics, engineers and many others restoring beautiful pieces of art and sharing knowledge with the next generation. This hobby should be promoted and admired instead Government rips them off and fines them but promotes gambling and drinking with no restrictions. Disappointing leadership in Australia. Every young guy should have a motorbike or car to restore... keeps their minds busy, build community and keeps them out of dens of iniquity. Great vid.
👍🏽 💯 Our govt sold it’s national pride on the penny , they bought up euro cars for their fleets . Sheep didn’t care when we lost our brands by way of our own govt , one of if not one of the only countries to produce its own cars and not purchase bulk for government usage around 07” . Part suppliers family business lost after generations , again sheep don’t care , have another beer 🍻 import stingers and carry on about the good ole days . Know that they say about the good old days ?they the good old days. Faith in the people that keep our petrol machinery alive and loved . 🇦🇺 💙 FJB & DA
Above 8k rpm, sweetest sound in automotive history. Quad rotor insanity. I was a huge fan of the 20b cosmos that are ultra rare and pricey as hell now.
Hands down the best RX-3 out. I remember first seeing this beast back in 1993 around Brighton Le Sands and falling in love with it there and then. Great job RP Customs.
That car has a timeless design. It reminds me of the mid-70s Celica and also tiny bit like my first car which was '74 Buick Opel Manta (A). Here in the USA GM imported and sold Opels under the Buick's name.
In 1976 I had a'74 Mazda 808 with a regular 4 cylinder w/overhead cam. It sounded nothing like that (that's awesome) but it did sound good and everyone seemed to like the styling a lot. I miss that little car, it was the coolest I've ever owned.
Good job fellas .Thanks for keeping this legacy going .That car there was my very good friends pride passion and joy before he passed away in the mid eighties at a time when only a hand full of people even knew what these cars were capable of doing disgracing V8s and popping all gears with 4 guys in the car at granny stock standard He Arthur the legend Fertakis would be so proud of you putting it back on the map with the 4 rotors making it once again an Icon. this car still had the plastic protection wrap on the back seat and rear parcel tray from factory when he bought it in 1984-85 then sadly fell ill but we who knew him always without a week goes by that we don't not remember our good funny kind friend Mr Fertakis...God bless you Arthur.
Love these cars, I had a sedan with a 12a J port, went off like a phillipino bar girl, glad to see some have survived. Mine perished at the next owners exuberance.
I've always like the car since seeing it in FF&R back in '93, great to see it's still around and packing such an awesome engine, sounds absolutely crazy too. :D
Brap, brap, brap, brap, brap, bet those designers over at mazda are like hey lets drop the zoom and go with the that grouchy brap sound. At least I would. Beautiful machine guys!!
Absolutely beautifully insane ,, there's one under a house across the road all apart sitting for 10 year's , it needs my love ,lol, and must go like yours wow ,, my toy is pretty fast CR500 Gokart
Cr500 go kart?? I doubt its pretty fast. Its most likely down right dangerous lol. Out of all the bikes I've ridden the cr500 was far and away the nastiest. My hayabusa seems tame compared too a cr500!!
Very nice, I remember reading about this car some many years ago now in fast fours and rotaries? I was a big fan back then of R100’s, RX2, 3’s and 4’s. I’ll never get rid of my 20 year old Audi S8 though, it still smells like new and when you drop the hammer...! 🔨
Radio is not required, the ear candy sound IS the radio. Nice video, shame the factory quad rotors got banned, but i suppose the built ones are allowed but under tight regulations.
Thats thing has bad piston rings you can hear it missing really bad at idle and it smokes horribley not sure whats so special about this car besides good paint
ErniesZeus we had a bog standard rx4 coupe - 4 spd .It was mums car bought brand new in 1974-75.It still had the plastic wrap on the seats until 1982 when i got it.Dad would do Bundoora to Mcrae in 59 mins in the late 70’s early 80’s to get to the beach house for a few days rest.It was a weapon.Best car i ever owned until i wrecked it hitting a big gum tree and fucking the whole front end with the motor & gearbox pushed right thru the firewall. Was playing with my gf pussy while driving it in the wet lol.
