yes, they are tankless. they are extremely hard to find in America or Canada, and the ones you do find are of not great quality and overpriced. I live in China for 6 months of every year for both business and so my husband can enjoy his family. When in America, we have a home in Denver, Colorado. This is how my in-laws' house is set up in China, and our home in China as well. we both live in newer high rises, and none of the apartments have hot water pipes. however, they do install in-wall pipes from the shower to connect with the heater under the sinks. It has been the norm for newer construction here for more than 20 years. We love them.

No, the device is only suitable for use at the sink or washbasin. We recommend our E-comfort instantaneous water heaters DSX Touch, DSX, DEX or DCX for supplying a bathtub.

Indeed 1.5 min is too long to get hot water to the kitchen sink/dishwasher. That is exactly the reason why we advice our clients to install our instant water heater closed to the point of use, you would get hot water within seconds. MBH model is a hydraulic instant water suitable for washbasin in guest toilet where hot water is rarely required. It heats the inlet cold water with full power, means you have to mix cold water in order to get good temperature outlet water p.e. 38-40 degrees. For kitchen sink we recommend our electrocincally controlled instant water heaters, which are more energy efficient and water saving. Simply speaking the electrical consumption of our electrical instant water heaters is depend on 3 parameters, inlet temperatur-settled outlet temperatur-water flow. It means it automatically calculates and consumes the required power to achieve the settled outlet temperatur, not work with full power as hydraulic instant water. Besides the settled outlet water is temperature accurate, so no need to add cold water, therefore it is energy efficient and water saving. Unvented installation is with a standard tap (with 2 connecting hoses). Vented installation is with a special open outlet tap (with 3 connecting hoses).

We understand your question in the sense that you want to install the instantaneous water heater on the central hot water pipe and the instantaneous water heater will supply hot water until the hot water comes from your existing pipe. The instantaneous water heater then switches off. The MBH instantaneous water heater is not suitable for this. You can use the MCX instantaneous water heater. For kitchen sinks we advice MBH 7 (not MBH 3) or the bigger compact instant water heaters 11 or 13,5 kW.

When delivered, the MBH 3 requires approx. 1.2 bar water pressure. This can be reduced to 0.5 bar by turning the adjusting screw. We basically recommend to install our instant water heater very closed to usage point ( p.e. max. 1-2 m) in order to get hot water quickly and to avoid heat loss and legionella risk. If you have existing hot and cold supply lines and you want to use our instant water heater, you have to install it between cold water connection and usage point (tap), p.e. under the basin. Our device needs only cold water line. In this case you have to cut off the hot water line from your central hot water tank in order to avoid standing water in hot water supply line to run back to central hot water tank due to contamination risk of legionella.

Ive got 38/39 degrees with a main at 11 degrees in December in the UK That was the smallest unit 2.8kw You need to adjust your flow rate to achieve higher temp.

In the videos we show the type of installation that is used the most. Of course there may be differences depending on the country or the object. For example, the electrical connections and the mains plugs are very country-specific. For the connection only a cold water pipe is needed, hot water is not necessary.
