Well that’s what the culture gets for making the Grammys a standard for black music….. millions of fans screaming ya name and u care only about the few people in the Grammy committees validation….
Well said Eiht !!! Nip loved his people his set and Crenshaw & Slauson to his dying day! I don't think for him it ever was a question to move the Marathon store anywhere else but where it was.
Every time I hear his name it saddens me because it's some cold hearted people in this world, like it's to many crabs that hate to see someone come up and make a living doing what they love crabs don't like to see adversity and people creating a good life for themselves and their family.
@@johnnybraxton5539 If Nip wanted he could have taken a more villainous approach and chosen to have a powerful general role in his gang but that would come with impacting his legitimate businesses and what he stood for so it was in his nature not to commit to that underworld and sacrifice himself for a bigger cause.
In the end they ended up moving the shop i remember and it’s not there anymore. Should’ve moved out before all this. He could’ve still repped but that hood mentality even once you make it and how smart nipsey was he couldn’t shake it. The same hood he rep he died in and that’s crazy. Cause he repped it heavy.
