What the hell ever happened to this kind of music? God I miss this stuff so much. Modern (so called) country music has made me shut off the radio and play CD's like this.
I ask myself the same question every time I hear what they call country on the radio.. Folks real country left us years ago and will never be back. All we have is this and a few jukeboxes left to keep our younger days and nights ALIVE
They harmonize so wonderfully and that pedal steel guitar is just fantastic!!! the steel guitar has an emotion to it that adds so much to a song. There has to be steel in it for it to grab me! The guy who played it in this song is a true blue musician!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell, i wouldn't call Florida Georgia Line country music to begin with!! Their GARBAGE!! I'd call 2 Pac country before those ass clowns!! Mcbride and the Ride were big in my days growing up and i'd love to see them out there again
My husband has played in a local country band since 19-89 and when they heard McBride And The Ride, they decided to play almost all their music. We went to see them in concert at the New Mexico State Fair rodeo grounds. They played Cream Of The Crop before it was on an album. We had so much fun and it went by so fast. A couple years ago my husband lost his best friend since grade school who was his drummer. All these songs make me cry. Time goes by so fast.
We were fortunate to have them at Tingley Colliseum in Albuquerque before they got famous! They did a terrific job and they were great people to visit with! Really miss this kind of country!
On of the most underrated bands of the 90's. This is is what it's all about. I so love this song. Me and my girl would go "Star Gazing". When I hear this song, it takes me back This was my first love, there's nothing like it.
To a girl I knew in 1982 while we were both in the US Navy. She got transferred and I went overseas with my squadron. Such a sweet lady. I never forgot her after all the years!
Real music only three friends makin country classics no auto tune no multi million dollar bullshit a couple few thousand dollars and there u have it a great country classic
Grew up with the best decade for country slacker radio had a 90s country station they even play sings you don't often hear anymore like stuff from wade Hayes Clint black mark collier and others
Marjorie Gentry I kept hearing this beautiful song last night in my dreams after seeing the video for the first time in 25 years. I'd like to think the couple found each other after all those years and got married. Call me romantic.
Cindy I miss you too much really i do i came here to listen to this song just to remember you, whenever i hear it i feel you. Baby you are inside me and no one can take your place. I LOVE YOU CINDY
Thank you to the person that let me know that they're starting a tour in Texas but I live in Ohio.. but it's good news these guys know how to harmonize and they play so good & . Some of their songs give me goosebumps
I love to hear that steel guitar. Love that sound. Don't hear that anymore.....Also began to like the steel guitars' cousin in Bluegrass, the Dobro....Listen to Jerry Douglas of Alison Krauss & Union Station. One of the best Dobro players.
In 1980 I got my first pedal steel it never took long to figure by the time I got fairly good in early 90s pedal steels were on the way out rarely heard in the Trashville stuff today.
This stuff is sooo epic to me. I wish Terry and the boys would come around southern Indiana/Evansville area. Looking forward to seeing Terry with Doug in Mcminville Tn later this month....
I love this! It 's some of my favorite lyrics. People seem to refer more to Terry. I love all three but Billy is my favorite one with Ray handsome cowboyish Texan-like. They are my favorite early 1990s group. So sad they broke up so soon. I hope they reunite at times.
Wherever i will go, You picture is inside me , inside my heart and soul. I promise you i will wait for you all the rest of my life. Cindy i will not marry any lady but you. Untill that will happen i will keep watching the same old star and i am sure i will see your pretty face. I LOVE YOU CINDY. REALLY I DO. even i can not say or do anything to bring you back but you are inside me and i will never forfet you my PRETTY CIND. LOVE YASSER
Directed by Bill Young and produced at Bill Young Productions in Sugar Land, TX. When I worked there my audio suite was just steps from the sound stage where some of this was filmed. What a phenomenal facility at Bill Young Productions and a privilege to work alongside him from '91 to '95!
These guys all have wonderful voices.. where are you sure you guys now I know one of you went to Brooks & Dunn?? . If anyone's reading missed it knows please let me know.. and can I count on you with me and my ex-boyfriend's song We slow danced to that till the cows came home.....🐄🐄
Just to let everyone know, my aunt was the true author of this song, she was making a deal with this band, and they stole it from her. Credit to Beverly Crutchfield
