Instagram- AdamTheWooATW I know this is pure garbage but I’ve been doing good and figured a little cheat mixed in is good for the soul . I’m in this for the long haul and looking forward to the outcome in a few months . Thanks for all the comments and opinions
It's not even a cheat, since you've accounted for the calories allowed in your daily calorie deficit. There is no secret to this weight loss. How to adhere to a calorie deficit diet, is what everyone needs to figure out for themselves. This calorie counting is eye opening
Do whatever you like it’s your life I love McDonald’s and have it as. A treat once I a. Blue moon who cares !! I will always support you !!! Congrats on the weight loss I’m down ten pounds as well and guess what I had McDonald’s last week so ha !!
Boy I know everyone is going to be chiming in on this one bc like you said, people get heated over the weight loss subject! But even if my comment gets lost in the shuffle, I wanted to say, great job on your first week - I honestly feel like your face looks a little thinner. Water weight or not, the fact that you're being more active and also mindful of calorie intake is a great start. I've spent just a little over 2 years now doing exactly that - making sure I stay active and making sure I'm in a calorie deficit each day - and I've lost 148 lbs so far (40 left to reach my goal). I had to take a good hard look at my relationship with food and what kinds of things I do to sabatoge myself when eating. I've also made a point not to torture myself bc if I just deny myself everything I love, I'm going to be miserable - it's exactly why I've failed these attempts in the past. So this time around I made sure to simply be mindful of my calories and portion sizes and make substitutions where I can - zero sugar sodas, no flour tortillas with my mexican food, cauliflower pizza instead of regular crust. But I also still make sure I am able to eat at Taco Bell whenever I want - I just order crunchy tacos instead of what I call "the big ticket items" (the ones with lots of queso and flour tortillas. No combo meals - just 3 crunchy tacos and one chalupa. It's worked great for me. And if a friend is having a birthday and wants to go out or it's a holiday, I allow myself to splurge a little. Food is meant to be enjoyed - I just had to make sure I wasn't enjoying it as frequently as I was before I started all this. And whether people want to chime in and say I'm doing it wrong or it's not healthy, that's fine. The thing is, I can now wear socks and tie my shoes again. I can wear watches. I don't have problems breathing while I eat anymore. I no longer have to use a cpap when I sleep. And I have more energy than I've had in decades. Hopefully these change will allow me to be here to care for my disabled son (who I have to lift every day) for a very long time. But the journey is different for everyone. Everyone's needs and relationship with food is different. There will be ups and downs and plateus. Just keep your eyes on the goal. You totally got this! And if you read through this mini novella of mine , thanks!
Congratulations on your weight loss!! You are doing great and I love that you are trying to eat better and count your calories, working out yet not depriving yourself of everything and going to the extremes by trying to drop weight in a couple of months. Adopting a lifestyle of healthy eating vs quick loss pays off in the long run and keeps you from becoming discouraged by trying to do radical changes all at once! You are doing a great job!!
Even as a reward tying food to emotions is what gets us in trouble. As someone who’s been there try to be as stoic about your cheat days as possible. Best of luck on your journey, congrats and keep going!
Congratulations on your weight loss Adam! It’s noticeable, especially in your face ~ you look great! I have been ordering Mac Sauce on my Quarter Pounder for years! Makes a huge difference! Thanks for all your dedication to your channel and the variety that you share! 😊
Yes, In- N-Out burger has sides of their "spread" sauce. It's kept refrigerated behind the front counter. It comes in large packets, similar to Ketchup packets but bigger. It's been 4 years since I've been to an In-N-Out but I do remember getting a side of sauce.
As someone around your age who has been up and down with my weight - thank you for posting this. I enjoy your regular content but to hear you talk about other topics such as weight loss and dieting - it is refreshing. You are going at your pace and that’s all that is important, Adam. Keep up the hard work and fun videos! Also - Lets Go Mets! lol
thanks wooman you motivated me today to get an extra large pepperoni pizza. which over the coarse of 2-3 days i will have a huge smile on my face so thank you.
In my opinion and from my experience, it's actually helpful to still have the foods you like that's aren't totally healthy sometimes :) keep it up! I bet you're inspiring tons of people with these videos :)
Ok Adam you got me, had to try it. Did an app order.. got nuggets, fries and Mac sauce for dipping. I love the Big Mac sauce on the burgers. But this big Mac dipping sauce tastes so different. Left an after taste in my mouth. Won't get it again. Thanks for getting me to try it.
In fairness, you’re a humble dude and respect that you’ve been enjoying some time with your parents in your vids. Congrats on the weight loss and your mom seems to love those staycations. #ShesAFish
Just found you through the trackers.I love your stuff and congratulations on the weight loss. I too just lost a bunch of weight and it's amazing when people ask and you tell them. It's very simple. Calories in and calories out.
I love all that you do, @TheDailyWoo! I’m sure you know this but one of the keys to losing weight is to exercise before eating. If you so it after you eat, you’re only working off what you ate. Drink lots and lots and lots of water. Do mini meals and tiny snacks.
I worked at Hardee’s as a teenager and I recall my shift mgr mixing thousand island dressing and chopped pickles to make ‘Big Mac sauce’ to put on her personal burgers. She said she should market that and make millions. 😂😂😂
I really loved this Video!!! You doing basic stuff like eating McDonalds..amazing Video Adam!!! I love the mama woo videos as well!!! You are my favorite!!
Keep it up bro! I have been on an intermitted fasting diet since January and I have lost 23 lbs. so far. Didn't have to change what I ate but changed how much. I shoot for under 2000 calories a day as well. Peace bro!
I’ve been getting Big Mac sauce on my Quarter Pounder for years! All you have to do is ask when you’re ordering it. I’ve never been told “no”. I’ve gotten it on the regular burgers also. Shhhhh, it’s a secret, lol!
Adam, I see why, you like Celebration Florida! It's reminds of the Orange Circle. Especially, with the Fountain & Shops ❤ I miss the City of Orange. Yet, I will happily stay in Oklahoma, where I, don't have to have any Roommates & I'm able afford everything! Great Job on Health Journey! Blessings & Love to you from a longtime Sub/ Viewer of yours, Piper & Singer a.k.a My Kitty❤😘
Congratulations on your journey. It’s okay to have a cheat day once in awhile. I lost 30 lbs. 8 years ago and has kept it off; but I also do intermittent fasting every few weeks.

Congrats on your weight loss!! Catching up on your tv shows/movies is a great way to do your exercise on the treadmill! Tracking is a super way to track your weight. Keep up the good work!
Daaang Adam...you make me want to go get McDonalds for lunch now. I usually only like the coffee but gonna go today...haha. BTW, In N Out does give out their burger sauce in packets.
Mcd's fries were ruined in 1992 when they stopped cooking them in tallow. See Malcolm Gladwell's article on it. They also are not the same size now. All fries were ruined when oil was used instead of fat.
Hi Adam! Thank you so much for bringing us along on all your journeys. Congratulations on the 9lbs lost! The haters are going to hate, but you do you and lost the weight however works for you. I absolutely love watching your videos!! I hope one day I get to meet you and maybe ride a ride with you at Disney. 😊
Hello Adam... McDonald's fries are very good. I work at the McDonald's in our town and I am happy to see you enjoying some McDonald's food. The extra sauce is not available here yet. Thanks for sharing your adventures in weight loss and food selections. Have a wonderful, magical, and healthy day! ❤Bizebeegranny Jeanne Rose from Wickenburg Arizona ❤
I got pulled down by my husky in Jan and stopped walking every day until now. I walked the neighborhood this morning and swam 5 laps at the pool. I lost 30 pounds last year, and a lot of people didn't really say anything. They just gave me side eye.I lost weight, and because we did well during the pandemic. The important people were nice and supportive 😅
Generally speaking Adam, eating fast food can be an ok option sometimes, even while trying to lose weight. Get a quarter pounder no cheese, it's got the biggest shot of protein on the menu. Great video as usual Adam.
McDonald’s and Wendy’s both got rid of grilled chicken sandwiches. As a person with dietary restrictions, it was my go-to option. I’m kind of shocked that they both no longer have a grilled chicken sandwich on their menu.
The chicken wrap isn't as good as the burger was. I started Noom on April 2nd and get so much good vibes from watching Adam's journey. I go to Wendy's and get a large chili and a chicken wrap. I'm down 13 lbs since starting Noom.
Did you see GIV's video a few days ago. He lost 50 lbs but has Diabetes2 and has to take a shot of insulin in his stomach daily. Keep up the dedicated work.
What's in the big mac sauce you shouldn't be eating Soybean Oil, High Fructose Corn Syrup Salt, Corn Syrup, Xanthan Gum, Calcium Chloride, Spice Extractives), Propylene Glycol Alginate, Vegetable Protein (hydrolyzed Corn, Soy, And Wheat), Sugar, Caramel Color. .. just saying ..
Congratulations on the first weeks journey! What I always find interesting is that when it comes to fast food, the ONE place the health care folks always mention to avoid entirely is McDonalds. They did have a grilled chicken back in the day, but the sodium count was through the roof! Lucky that you can still get Hot Mustard as a sauce...we can't get that in Wisconsin. Probably a good thing for my health!
In 2016, McDonald's officially retired Ronald after a series of "creepy clown sightings" popped up across the United States. As they escalated from harmless sightings to reports of carrying weapons, it became an awful time to be a clown.
From my experience, it’s good to eat things you like sometimes even if it’s not the healthiest. When I try to completely deprive myself, I end up going back to eating crap and binge eating. Enjoy your McDonald’s every once in a while.
This is so true. Maybe some people can go cold turkey, but it's more likely you'll give into the craving more if you completely eliminate the bad food. A treat or cheat day is good for the healthy eating habit lasting longer.
For cryin out loud Adam, chew your food better! You take a bite then soon swallow it. That’s not healthy. Plus you wouldn’t feel like eating as much as you do.
It was a lot of fun watching you enjoy your 1/4 Pounder & fries with Big Mac sauce. Complete satisfaction! You've earned it, and are looking *good* man! BTW - I think the song you were talking about is: "Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell.
Congratulations on the 5 + 4 pounds gone! It’s amazing how quickly you see that in your face! Next time, have them hold the mayo on the Mc Chicken, and that will save you some calories 🙂 keep on keeping on! You are doing great!!!
Just a couple of observations: You had a Quarter Pounder with cheese and 4 cups of Big Mac sauce (I know you didn’t eat them all) but you kept saying 3 and that’s what you ordered but they gave you 4. Lastly wipe your face more; especially when using sauce 😆 that’s all 😊
Congrats on the 9 pounds!!! Doesn’t matter if it’s healthy, matters how many calories. And you have to eat some of what you love or you won’t stay on the diet.
Adam i am husky fella myself. I don't eat fast food in general but i cut soda and just drink water 🚰 i mostly eat home cooked food. But bake almost every thing and plenty of veggies and greens 😋. Also for those who have comments and negative responses try being positive. Adam it's not were or how you start its how we finish! I'm on this journey with you! I proud of you Woo and I'm pretty sure Mama Woo and Papa Woo are too!
Bad move dude. I guess if you have no desire to be healthy and weight is your only focus. If you had waited a month I would not be giving you a hard time. I think a healthy Keto diet might be a good diet for you. You could have 10 hot dogs, just no bun or ketchup.
Congratulations on losing 9lbs Adam! It’s ok to treat yourself sometimes, that’s why crash diets fail, the cravings just build & build & build. It’s the long game, every meal doesn’t have to be grilled chicken & broccoli.
You're doing great, you're doing it, congrats on your weight loss, and you said it all correct!!! Weight loss is a goal and can be fun, when you meet goals it's a great sense of accomplishment!! Keep going!!!
