Just yesterday I was thinking "Damn, haven't found a new Mac Tonight commercial for a couple of months - usually, we find a new one about now". And, sure enough, today I see this uploaded to RU-vid. Nothing hugely interesting, but it's neat to see that Australia filmed its own segments for the clock tower, just as Japan did.
I'm surprised how Macca's (McDonald's) Australia decided to re-use the original Mac Tonight theme instead of the remake that was used few years earlier, except there is some re-shots of a burger and fries closeup.
Really Strange that clock tower reaired in Australia, as I thought the lawsuit would have stop this from happening, oh well, I wonder if there more out there that we don’t have
Similar to how Stars was also rebroadcast. I suspect there are many more commercials aired in Australia during the early 90s - I've heard talk of Beautiful Morning also airing on Australian TV/radio but this may not be true.
@@dailymactonight As I live in Australia, I've had the chance to ask some people about whether they remember particular commercials. One person (who would have been in their 30s at the time) was quite ademant that they recognised Beautiful Morning. Not the most reliable source, of course, but considering Australia made its own Mac Tonight commercials during the 90s, I wouldn't be surprised.
@@Zakko64 Not sure - if they aired Beautiful Morning, they probably would have aired Study Break. A French version of Study Break was aired in Quebec, so who knows.
