I find myself watching these when I can't sleep. I'm not saying they are boring whatsoever but they are soothing and help me forget my life issues. I also appreciate how you make all of your items with love and care. I ESPECIALLY appreciate how you separate the pickles!!!!!! I know this is a breakfast POV but when you make burgers, you always spread out the pickles.
Never worked at McDonalds. Never even worked in fast food but all you fast food employees deserve a lot of respect. More than you likely get. The pace and complexity of all you do is very admirable. Good job to you all. 👏🏻
I worked at a non-big chain pizzeria in high school... was a total blast to work there, but we had our nightmares too - like Friday nights during football and softball seasons. We'd be 5 minutes to closing and get a full house of customers, 30 large pizzas, pitchers of beer, and stay until 2am cleaning up. Of course, we took liberty of the beer taps... Whistle while you :::hic::: work...
The wrapping part really is the addicting part. I tried remaking it the other day bought 4 sandwhiches and unwrapped then went back and copied what he does for the fun of it
I have so much respect for people who work at McDonald's and similar quick serve restaurants. Thanks for recording some of the behind the scenes action
Impressive to see the organization of different colours of wrap being used for the different items, how they are positioned so the correct item label shows when wrapped. I was rather surprised that no one ordered a sausage/egg/cheese biscuit. Around here they're a popular item, also my fave.
I’m blown away that they have bagels there! And he said something about gravy. What?!? Obviously they’re in the south but that’s not fair! I bet biscuits and gravy would sell well anywhere.
Exactly my thought! A lot of people get a egg McMuffin with bacon and cheese here in the Netherlands but haven’t seen one order in this video. Also SO MANY BREAKFAST OPTIONS!!!
Those extra couple seconds you take in making things be better on the food you prepare is so nice. I have been binging these lately. Wish the folks at other restaurants were half as good as you.
Been working in the food industry since the age of 16. I have a passion for cooking and watching others cook. Whether it’s fast food, kosher, fusion, fine dining, etc. I just enjoy it. ❤❤❤
I put these on when I'm working from home to feel just a tiny bit more productive, thank you for that. I hope the half hour vids continue .Would like to see the lunch version of this.
it's crazy how satisfying it is to watch your videos ... and because of your videos, I have started to eat at McDonald's again, thanks for putting the confidence back ... I know not all McDonald's are like yours but I hope and wish they are
I feel like this would make your day go by so quickly and smoothly. Something about having coworkers who you cans depend on in a fast-paced workplace makes all the difference.
I wish I could have a Sausage Egg Muffin, but for some Reason the Breakfast at McDonalds Germany is just a sad Joke compared to what I see in these Vids here.
It's always satisfying to watch you. You don't rush out the orders, but you're working fast and careful. I just noticed that the wrapping paper can be used for 3 different products - just be careful that the right name is up. I love the fact that your team works perfectly together.
Love this video thank you for showing us what goes on in the kitchen! I applaud you for working so hard and you're so nice too! I admit I couldn't work in the kitchen because all of the alarms constantly going off would have my anxiety so high.
Right?? I had to stop going to McDonald's for awhile because they had some workers who just did not care what they were doing. So many times I had burger patties half way out of the bun and ketchup on the outside of the bun. How do you even do that? If people cared as much as this guy then I'd go back a lot more often.
@@josephbrandon549 Yeah... I wanna say 95% of the time a quarter of the cheese is stuck to the wrapper, and the egg/ham is sliding out of the muffin. It largely comes down to how well the location is managed, and the workers are treated. General rule of thumb is avoid locations anywhere near a lower income neighborhood. That can be difficult as fast food places in general tend to be near them, as that's their target demographic. Otherwise, the egg McMuffin is the gold standard of breakfast sandwiches. Love that they use a fresh egg, and the cheese/ham are a great flavor balance. It's honestly not that bad for you either all things considered.
Yeah well they don't care if you come back bc they get paid either way. If anything it assures that the line keeps tame without picky & Petty people like yourself complaining about petty not important things. You can literally just fix the burger & eat it. What do you expect a 5 star restaurant. It's McDonald's... Really. Do you even hear yourself?
I worked at a McDonald's way back in 1996, and I must say things have changed with the prep stations now with technology and such. I remember being stuck on grill duty constantly because I guess I was too slow to sandwich prep haha. It was fun times though being baked working the closing shift with my buddies and all.
@@Leotheconstructionguy depends if you do All Day breakfast or not. My McDonalds ends breakfast at 10:30 AM and that last 30 minutes is HELL since we don't want to cook more breakfast food and we want to cook lunch, but still need enough to fill the orders 😭
My wife is laughing at me as I’m calling the order when he pulls the paper and also calling what’s out before Stephen does. So much fun. Wish my McD’s would being back the steak bagel, best thing on the menu
Theres something about the smoothness thats epic. When I used to make smoothies, getting used to making the drinks without looking is the most satisfying thing. The flow
Every other McDonald's I go to is nothing but unorganized chaos. Three people can run McDonald's, but when there's 10 people inside they can't get anything done.
After watching some of your videos I have a new respect for McDonald's workers I see how fast and efficient that you guys work and communicate with each other awesome 👍
I find these videos so relaxing. And I love the attention to detail he's just so quick! I remember working at BK and I was also in the kitchen always had to be fast or you'd be so behind
I would like to see more of the prep work prior to opening and what the front help have to deal with when it comes to taking orders and fulfilling the rest of the orders. Just a thought but dang I do enjoy watching these videos and learning the behind the scenes of what it takes to get orders out quickly.
I think most McDonald’s are pretty much exclusively using the customer self order kiosks nowadays so there probably isn’t much to see when it comes to taking orders.
Yea i used to work service at mcdonalds and it was a mess. I literally used to have to take orders while making drinks and having to run orders outside all at once
@@4tarsus from what I can remember when I worked at McDonald's the biscuits come on the shipment like the buns and everything else they're not made in store at the restaurant
It's crazy how streamlined the pass is at mcdonalds. I didn't even know their pass was seperated from the cooking stations and I definitely didn't expect how organized it is but it makes sense because the more you streamline the better your efficiency. Now i wanna see the video where there's a 15 minute holdup and a line wrapped around the building 3 times.
This dude seems to keep his place in order. The one I worked at? I'd be fired day one for moving this slow, and he's actually going pretty quick objectively.
He's the owner & when the owner is in the building the place runs better. Once he leaves they all are up to their old shenanigans again. Serving old food & making customers wait for it. Taking breaks during rush hours & coming in late & calling out of shifts not stocking after rushes & not cleaning after rushes etc. & the reason ... well just bc... they can bc they have in the past.
Your a beast at making breakfast sandwhiches, and you notice all of your employees and provide a really healthy work environment. Its refreshing to see
If I ever received a breakfast from this McDonald’s I’d freak out. You do your job with respect! Canadian McDonalds are not as good as my neighbours to the south. I have never received any breakfast from the McDonalds in my city with the cheese under the bun and the same with all the ingredients. But I sure wish we had biscuits. Great job sir. Merry Christmas to you and your viewers
ASMR!!!! ❤ I’m new to the Mcdonalds workforce so I’m looking at this for inspiration and motivation for when my first few shifts are available. Well done!!!!🎉
Well that didn't last long. The excitement wore off fast didn't it? It's not as easy as you think and it depends on how your bosses are. It's all about productivity
I wish my McD Was this quick, you would be waiting 10 minutes just for 2 easy Egg,Chese,Bacon McGriddle. Love the content, glad i found your channel your videos always keep a smile on my face.
Ok, I just want to say that I rarely eat McDonald’s (or fast food in general) but yet I’m just so intrigued on these videos. I just can’t stop watching them.
McDonald’s was my first job in high school forever ago and I love watching your videos. I have such an appreciation for all fast food workers and this reminds me of the times I would step in and help in the back. Random: My fav breakfast go to is the sausage or bacon egg and cheese biscuit substitute with round egg. 😋
This man is a whole machine and he’s friendly too! 🤩 Edit: I was a barista, very fast but I wasn’t all that friendly. So I appreciate you sir! Also, was that a steak egg and cheese bagel I saw being made? Where was the grease? Ours almost always came dripping grease 😅
Back when I was a supervisor I also opened on breakfast. Something about it I loved. So simple and the smell of the food. I have grown into a line cook but I do miss my McDonald’s days a lot. Good memories. Also really refreshing to see an owner so hands on. My past owner never came on the line or gave any attention to the working of the restaurant just cared about numbers. I don’t miss him.
I don't know why I keep watching these breakfast videos. You keep torturing me when you make the steak, egg and cheese bagels. Something I can't get where I'm at. I'm still impressed how fast and accurately you can get those orders out. Keep up the great, and hunger inducing, videos.
Hi Stephen! I watch all your videos and always have questions running through my head! First, who keeps up with the par for items in the cabinet? I'm sure it drops near the end of breakfast hours. And secondly, why do we hear the "quarter" cow bell during breakfast hours?? Thanks, I really enjoy your videos.
Good vid, cool to see how this is done. I like McD's but during covid I learned to make all this at home. It's a 5th of the price, don't gotta drive nowhere, and it's much better taste. I'm a badass cook now, do deep fry too my fries and chicken tenders will make you cry😀
@@idiotbakashini2025 I didn't try to make exactly McDonalds, but I looked up recipes on the internet and learned from there. Mostly learning how to deep fry made me not need fast food anymore.
Hardest part for me would be resisting the urge to just munch on some stuff while I'm preparing sandwiches, like I was at home. Probably a no-no. Thanks for the vid
I do not understand how mesmerizing this is! I’m so into it! This guy is a master of the mc prep. Awesome. I guess I’m not the only one who thinks so- 1M+ views already!
I really miss McDonald's serving breakfast all day! I haven't had it since before the pandemic and used to eat it a few times a month. The sausage egg and cheese McMuffin spread with strawberry jelly is my favorite. 😋
