What a pleasant seeming kitchen job, no annoying co-staff getting in your way, no constant beeping or alarms going for fryers, not worrying about constantly working the cash register. Just nice, clean, solo-cooking people's custom orders. As a cooking fanatic it sounds very relaxing and fun
It is, I had a nightmare day yesterday, the card readers stopped working, on the phone for two hours to try to solve the issues, than finally lunch time, preparing Malasian style pancakes, all my stress gone 👌😉👍
@@MrT2022 I would have some sort of earpiece to answer calls so you don't have to walk around with phone. prolly would help a lot cook and talk someone through earspeaker.
What's remarkable is the level of cross contamination going on here. Raw egg all over his glove and sticking that same hand in all the drawers with the veggies and cheese.
@@weazelnews3552 dont even bother pointing out his faults. i said he forgot salt on an omlete and he and his viewers think hes the son of god reincarnated.
You can’t tell how much he likes cooking for people by how wonderfully nice he is!!! I love this guy! If I ever met him I would have a coffee with him! Also his customer service would get a tip from me.
Nothing has held me attention recently. However, I was able to watch this full 20 minutes of just cooking. It is immensely satisfying to watch someone work with passion. You can tell by how he multitasks, moves, cleans his station etc that he truly cares about his craft. Great video.
@@mattmax11 because most people in the US hate their jobs and only do it to pay their bills. I clearly said I can tell by your body language that he enjoys what he does. I didn’t said because I live in the US I can read body language… I’m just comparing him to the entitled yanks that I am used to. But thanks for questioning a 10 month old comment 😂
Not too many cooks out there with your kinda style anymore. Clean organized polite to the guest takes pride in your work. Mise on point. Good work chef.
What a relaxing video. I also really respect how careful and precise you're with peoples orders. I love how you care about keeping everything clean as well.
Excellent customer service and his attention to detail is important. Also he listens to the customers request. Plus he is fast but makes sure the food is cooked evenly and done right.
The customers so far seem so polite and respectful. I've loved working in fast food in the past, honestly only have a few bad experiences with customers, my problem has been mostly with horrible coworkers. Nowadays I just sate my love for cooking at home. I get to make what I like and when I like it in my cozy kitchen.
this is soo elegantly done, i admit ive gotten more lazy over the years with cooking breakfast at my families diner but there is still so much pride to be taken in cooking breakfast right. And sometimes working alone is the best because you work at your speed and dont have to worry about anyone else :) though the time i cooked a sunday rush of 150 or so over the coarse of 6 hours begs to differ (fast paced resturant serving diner foods) but god is it fun in a way!
@@mac_sour i will admit. i remember a few months back on a sunday my only coworker called in sick. i was alone in the kitchen and from 7-1 i cooked for about 160 lol. yes i was dead ass tired after and yes the bartenders stayed and helped me clean up as i was dead lol.
Wonderful to see a chef taking pride in his craft and his section. Neat, clean, gloves, mis en place squared away, quick, and efficient. A pleasure to watch.Thank you for sharing. 👍
Im so happy this type oof content is recommended in my youtube, your videos are very calming and entertaining And i love how nice you're to your customers 👍
What was a meal that you guys would cook that the whole submarine crew would go crazy for? I feel like pizza or something like that would get me pretty excited if I was on one of those lol
love ur stuff man!!! so satisfying to watch. you’re not only making people food to get them through the day, but making content to get me through the night. keep doing you man!! let’s get you to 100k subscribers!!!
Yes! MrT does amazing, he's so efficient, respectful and friendly with people. I also love how he frequently changes his gloves too, you never see that in the Culinary world.
Anyone that does this for a job from professional cheifs to fast food workers are just amazing ppl. I'm always thankful for them in making my day alittle bit easier 😌.
This man knows what he is doing, so clam, just doing his thing.... I would be in this place every day... how nice it was to watch....everything at his fingertips. So smooth..... fun to watch.... Thank you for letting us watch you work......
Not gonna lie, you make the breakfasts look so good. I bet they taste amazing as much as they look. Also willing to bet you'd get a 100 percent customer satisfaction
Loooove videos like these. Reminds me of cooking for a big family group on fishing trips; I never complained about cooking breakfast so long as I had 15 minutes to prep and didnt have to do dishes! Very nostalgic :)
This job looks so much fun. It reminds me of when i worked as a cocktailbartender the way you move and get into a flow back and forth. However this seem much more pleasant. Making delicious english breakfast for hungry workers helping them start their day in a good way must be awesome.
there's tidy cooks,... and there are REALLY tidy cooks. I like this guy. A well kept station is a well run station. He's also got speed and consistency. something any chef or kitchen manager loves to see. hope they're paying you well, man. A ship don't move without it's engine room.
Man sure love the organization on your line. And the cook time on your pouch eggs. It toke me about a week to master pouch eggs. Awesome work and awesome line too!
Your videos are strangely addictive. I didn’t know I liked watching someone make omelettes. Have you ever made a cheesy bean omelette? I thought of it whilst watching you.
As a person who is continuing to master the grill and home cooked meals, this is very educational. Thank you!!! Everything you prepare looks so delicious
I don't want to be mean and i respect MrT but between what he does and what they do in Masterchef is completely dif, i doubt he would go to the finals. Ofc it's my opinion i may be wrong. Anyway doesn't change the fact that he is a nice and good cook.
hey i was wondering when you make the poached eggs on 9:35 do you mix vinegar in the water? cause ive heard that you needed vinegar so the eggs doesnt scramble or break apart, Thanks and i love how clean and neat you're taking the kitchen! it's very satisfying to me whe you cleaned everytime you finished an order!
I was working on the line the other day for breakfast. We needed to make some poached eggs quickly and our burners were discovered to have gas issues so our pot wasn't hot enough, so our other morning cook took some of the water from said pot and put it in one of the non stick pans reserved for omelets and turned the heat all the way up and poached both eggs, no vinegar and they came out good, but he's been cooking for decades.. But I witnessed first hand, it can be done..
See! I told u a few months ago that ur channel would grow :) nc to see , ur positive spirit spreads like a virus putting a smile on everyones face , a true master at work
2:04 Lady: "Can I have a little bit more cheese please." Our Man: Proceeds to put in exactly 5 strings of Cheese. The Lady: 👁👄👁 The 2nd Lady: 🤣 This is exactly what I do often when someone asks me for something just a little bit more, I proceed to give them just a tiny particle. The look on their faces is priceless.
@@ernestogastelum9123 I know this already. I was commenting about what the OP meant by his reaction because the other commenter obviously took it out of context. Thanks though 👍
I can't wait to do this! my dad is a retired line cook, my brother followed his shoes and I can't wait to become one once I'm old enough! Gonna drop out once I hit 10th grade, get my GED and then it's right to the line for me!!
From a chef point of view I loved this, such respect for the customer and such lovely clientele. Manners maketh! I loved the part you were whistling the song played previously, and finishing of with Cranberries Zombie ❤ a little tip get small digital timer for your eggs and start at 3.20 and see if that’s to your liking that’s how long I do my medium eggs on a gentle rolling simmer! That way you can gauge if you have 30 seconds free to get so else done or maybe crack a joke with the customer 😂 they love it!😂 Love the way you crack one egg on top of other egg. cuts time down a few seconds. I do like time and motion at work 😀 you are an asset to Costa
I know you’re cooking English food but I still get a kick everytime someone orders beans with their breakfast. That being said, it looks *delicious* and I should definitely add them to my breakfast menu, it just makes me chuckle
I love the U.K. so much! You can just hear and see the love and friendliness, organization and respect. This would not be the same in America (which I’m not from, I’m from Lebanon in the Middle East)
