Yo Ben get everything on the Greggs menu, sausage roll, steak bake, chicken bake, sausage and bean bake etc. they are a cheap and comforting classic in the UK that you can’t miss
People dig at Greggs, but right now they're keeping people fed, its affordable and if you pass a homeless person who doesn't have a greggs cup/bag, your not on a UK highstreet right now. They feed thousands of kids for free at school breakfast clubs. Greggs is the true British, living wage, Northern warrior.❤
They also treat their workers pretty well, my best friends partner works there and they give good bonuses! (I’ve never had a job that gives bonuses at all 😂)
@@iftekhar77 They definitely take stuff out of the bag. Usually your added extras like pieces of chicken or cans of soda. Read reviews on delivery apps for places like BK or KFC and you’ll see a lot of people complaining that they were missing these sort of items from their delivery.
@@BobBobOnRU-vid Yeah but to be fair, it's often the restaurant too. KFC workers do not gaf. Even when you go directly to the restaurant, they 'forget' items all the time.
Cabury chocolate eggs have gotten very popular here in the US during Easter. England has a huge Pakistani and India population. So the "Veggie" sticks with curry sauce make perfect sense. Not sure if you have done one so far but love to see you showcase a McDonald's mukbang in the USA.
We (the UK) don't have a "huge" Indian and Pakistani population. Indian makes up 2.3% and Pakistani 1.9%. That's the government figure as of September 2023.
I was about to comment that 😅 When they first started delivering McD they didn't use those tear bags and I had items missing from my orders a few times.
Voldemort's weird laugh on repeat in the background 😂 Also so many amazing options in London, I'd second what another comment said about getting Wahaca tacos, but loads of other choices e.g. burger and beyond for burgers, Wingman's for wings, Dishoom for slightly fancier Indian
@@AppySaid I also live here. Wingstop wings (their tenders are decent) are trash - mid with very artificial tasting sauces. Wingmans isn't really a chain restaurant (one in Soho, one in Kilburn), more "gourmet" style wings. *Sorry just realised you were referring to the KFC thing. Yeah agreed most are, but all 3 KFC spots near me are excellent - it's almost always fresh to order.
It's truly insane how we've overlooked the subpar assembly of a McDonald's burger simply because we've grown accustomed to its lackluster composition. Imagine going anywhere else and being served that haha. So good tho
I worked in BK when was 16, it gets INSANELY busy during peak service hours. no time to be arranging lettuce leaves when there's 7 more orders waiting and the cashier is getting shit because the customer ordered some off brand special and its taking time
@@spacechannelfiverhow hard can it be to put more sauce on a bun? The level of dryness on some of those burgers is awfull with a pathetic amount of shredded lettuce that's not even that hardtop just drop on a burger. You might not have standards but other people do.
It's so fascinating as an American to try McDonald's in other countries. It's one of the only times we get to see our own culture chewed up and spat back at us, like we usually do to other cultures.
@@JohnRock14 yes maybe true about the ingredients but I'm pretty sure over here in the UK the workers are just lazy and can't be bothered they rather just pre heat the cooked dry patties and most of the time the food is cold rather than warm big disappointment tbf depends on the location as well you're lucky to get warm mcds in the UK 😂😂😂
As an American who lives in the UK, I'll be VERY interested to know what you think of the food you try here! US chains that are in London that could be worth having if you're missing it: Wendy's and Shake Shack. If you're wanting some Cali-esque tacos/burritos, a place called Tortilla is good.
All US food companies where I live only serve Halal. US is betraying British people by only serving Halal. It will be the end effect where Dominos actually tumbles like Dominos and susses out their creator invented a logo specifically for this day and age. It has three dots which means? Easy as 1,2 and 3. Wimpy did not go bust. They staged their own collapse from the North to South due to the UKs social experiment they refused to have anything to do with. Wimpy are still operating but in limited areas and the last time I eaten in a Wimpy they told me "They will be making Whimps out of the British Government" when they return.
@@jakeshaw1661 - common misconception. Chipotle has been in the UK for over 10 years, although there is still only a handful of restaurants to be fair.

i heard chicken selects actually had more chemicals than chicken and since then i’ve avoided them (even though they are literally the best thing on the menu)
@@wqw888 Bro if you're getting mac donalds, might as well get what you want. It's all not great for you, it's like saying you smoke tabacco rollies instead of normal cigarettes
Ik what you mean by it being frustrating with the camera turning off. My GoPro will do the same thing. I drive monster trucks for a living. And alot of times when I come back to the pits to get unstrapped and get out of my truck, I’ll go to turn my GoPro off and it will be off. Idk why, it will just shut off on its own when I’m racing or freestyling. And it’s very frustrating. So I totally get it man! I’m in the same boat. But awesome video as always, I love your content dude.
If you visit the UK there are a lot of No Go Zones you need to avoid. West Yorkshire Bradford Cleveland Redcar West Midlands London North Wales Mid Wales Scotland Northern Ireland Due to - Drug Cartels, Knife crime, sexual offences, kidnappings and theft. It will be around 2031 before the UK is safe again.
🤣🤣. You could get on a double decker bus and it may blow over in the wind, roll over on the snow and ice, crash into a low bridge or catch fire. As of 2022 about 30 percent of British have moved overseas and by 2050 it is expected most British would have moved overseas. I can have the bingo hall and arcade to myself then 😅
McPlant is solid, one of my guilty pleasure vegan foods. I describe it to friends of tasting like "generic maccies", and i think that's pretty accurate
In Australia we also have the McSpicy but its using thigh meat. By far the best chicken burger/sandwich you can get from any of the fast food places here
@@DCR_RANG McDonalds in Australia have been using Kangaroo meat to make beef burgers for years. Australia also sells Halal Chicken. Australia is the biggest importer of Halal meat. UK to Australia immigration is set to 35 and under. No one in England cares about Australia anymore. Your immigration laws to British, the trade deal and Aussie food never happened and your country brands British drunks. I personally, don't give a #### about you Aussies anymore. You are foul mouthed, hate the world and somehow hate each other and can't suss out why the world hates Australia. I would rather go on holiday to Jalico in Mexico and risk been kidnapped by the cartels than visit Australia.
It's different because the culture makes it different. Seven eleven is the run of the mill gas station convenience store but it is next level in japan because of the culture around convenience stores
the mcspicy, big tasty (when it’s on the menu), the different variations of cheese bites and the chicken legend/selects are the best things on our menu
You should try the chocolate. Unlike American, English is made with milk instead of preservatives. I suggest wispa, double decker, twirl, galaxy chocolate bars
@@darling..............these are just your normal average priced chocolate bars here, you can get some of those chocolate’s bars for under £1. So it’s a fair comparison.
You need to do a feast of Cadbury's. It ain't premium Belgium chocolate but its as good as you can get for the price and pisses on basically everything else at the price point
you know i’ve been watching your vids on and off for about 4-5 years now. I literally started watching you as a teenager now i’m 21 lmao. love ur vids bro
Yooo Ben, I was hoping you'd give us your thoughts on UK maccies! I trust your verdict I live here, and would be really interested to see your thoughts on UK dominoes/PJ's/pizza hut for comparison. Also gotta try nandos, and Greggs as a few other people have said I think if you can get your hands on a fresh roast dinner with Yorkshire puddings, or just a huge Yorkshire pudding with gravy, that'd be dope
HEY MATE, I'VE WATCHED MOST OF YOUR VIDEO'S AND I LOVE THEM. I WOULD SAY BANGERS AND MASH FROM THE UK IS YOUR FAVORITE! AND SHEPHERDS PIE. I'TS MY FAVORITE ASWELL! YOU ALWAYS MAKE ME SO HUNGRY! I JUST LOVE THE WAY YOU EAT AND THE NOISES YOU MAKE, YOUR IN HEAVEN! KEEP GOING YOUR VIDEOS ARE AWESOME...
Ben, go to Greggs to get a Sausage roll. This is the most famous UK bakery chain. Get their sausage roll and also their vegan sausage roll. Many people even prefer the Vegan sausage roll over the meat one (even non-vegans!). They also do great sweet treats.
If you buy frozen or fresh Shepard's Pie from UK Supermarkets it's made with Halal Beef. Have you noticed the amount of fresh meat and ready meals been reduced to clear? Don't be stunned.
The veggie deluxe used to be a patty until the dipper came out and there was a wrap with the patty cut in half too. There never used to be a mini McFlurry, don’t think I’ve ever had one. Chicken selects are defo the best thing that are always on the menu but I love the spicy nuggets and potato wedges when they do them.
I'm surprised you actually got the full order, everytime I've ordered McDelivery the restaurant can't even manage to put the correct or miss items out . Then blame delivery company for their stupidness 💩
I’ve given up on ordering McDonalds and only ever get it when I’m in town instead because they ALWAYS mess multiple things up with each order and it drives me insane
Yeah but that's all basic most of the stuff he eats or ate maybe not exactly the same but still quiet the same boring fast foods why don't you recommend he to try something new besides same old boring American chains dude
@user-dq2uz8op9x I suggested these things as he also tried Domino's and KFC in other places so if he's coming to the UK he could try these places too but try things that we have on our menus that other countries don't have I'm sure he's gonna have some form of fish and chips so I didn't bother saying that cuz somebody else would have suggested it
As am American living here for 15 years or so, I've long forgotten about what McD's tastes like in America. I'm super happy you're here and throwing this down 👌🏻
new to the channel.... soooo glad to join the gang, agree with many... your 'willingness' to embrace different cultures is inspiring. Keep it up man! Also... is it just me, or if you close your eyes and listen ...Im getting full Johnny Dep deep voice vibes... might be the weed 😵💫 😆😆
Welcome to the UK Ben! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 If you're in London, you've got to try Morley's (a budget-friendly chicken shop franchise). I think you'll enjoy their fried chicken burger and their spicy wings. Their fries aren't too bad either.
new sub friend here nice review thanks for sharing looks good i hate it when fast food places leave the bottom bun dry and bare like that i always like to add extra pickles and ketchup or mayonase on the bottom bun to give it some substance
They put everything in cardboard these days here in Europe. They even have cardboard lids for the coke here in Germany now, that you're supposed to drink out of without a straw. It's just so stupid, because the ice in the coke constantly touches your teeth while you're trying to sipp out of the F-ing cardboard lid. The dumbest stuff I've ever seen in fast food really, but it's all thanks to the EU-dictatorship basically.
Plastic waste which means less Plastic in the ocean Plastic waste kills weeds and other things in the ocean less Plastic the cleaner the ocean is and around the world which makes sense tbh
I just discovered your page and I’m loving the content! I’m from the UK so appreciate your honest review on our foods.. but I do have a suggestion that’s wild 😂 you definitely try KFC in Jamaica, I think you’ll love it, the flavours are amazing and you won’t regret it 😅
yeah people go places to see the sites, experience the culture and try authentic cuisine, ben goes to eat their american fast food chain. Dude, you're in the UK.. go to a chippy they're everyejere in the uk. get your authentic fish n chips.
That’s such a funny coincidence, I'm in the UK for a semester and Ben Deen is there at the same time! About the McDonald, comparing with Canada McDonald’s, I think the fries and big mac taste a bit bland, maybe it’s the law here that force Mcdo to make it healthier but the fries definitely taste less good, they taste like natural potatoes fries you would make at home, they don’t have that McDonald’s fries thing to it, I noticed the same thing with McDonald’s in France tbh
The UK have much stricter rules around food additives and ingredients. UK McDonalds wouldn't be able to use alot of the ingredients they would in other Countries! Hence the different flavours!
Things you should try will being in the UK: Nandos: chicken pita bread, peri chips, peri mayo. Wahaca tacos: buttermilk chicken, pork and chicken and avocado. Chopstix: caramel chicken Wagamamas: ginger chicken udon
