As it happened last year, McLaren rented the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari for a couple of test days, this time with the 2022 MCL36, since the regulations permit unlimited milage with 2-years old cars. The first day Oscar Piastri has been behind the wheel of the McLaren, while yesterday it was time for Ryo Hirakawa, McLaren's reserve driver who had the opportunity to test an F1 car for the fourth time, also to get trained in case of necessity, whenever one of the two regular would have problems.
