MD1 uses 2.4 GHz Bluetooth 5 and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to transmit MIDI messages between 5-pin MIDI devices and BLE-enabled Mac computers, Mac laptops, iPads and iPhones. If two MD1 units are used, the system can also transmit MIDI between two non-Bluetooth MIDI devices.

5:01 Connecting to an iPhone
7:23 Connecting two non-Bluetooth MIDI devices
8:34 MIDI devices and instruments
In addition to eliminating the clutter, limitations and inconvenience of MIDI cables, the super-compact MD1 system makes it possible to connect a non-Bluetooth MIDI keyboard or controller to an iPhone, iPad or Mac computer. This makes it an invaluable tool for music creators using iOS software and apps. MD1 is also compatible with a wide variety of MIDI gear-including keyboards and synthesizers, MIDI controllers and pads, electronic drum sets and drum machines, foot controllers, profiling guitar amplifiers, digital mixing consoles, effect rack units and even some effect pedals.
MD1 doesn’t require a battery or power supply; it gets its power from whatever MIDI OUT port it’s connected to. The system connects quickly and easily; and its latency is as low as 3 milliseconds when transmitting between two MD1 systems. The wireless range is 20 meters (65 feet) without obstructions.
The MD1 Wireless MIDI System is available now from Xvive dealers and online retailers worldwide, and sells for $49.99 USD.

Somehow this looks exactly like the CME widi master. I'm pretty sure one of them is a rebranded one of another. Don't know which one is superior with better performance and support

I would buy this if you made the exact same but with a 13-pin midi connector (for guitar). To transfer midi from my Godin to a GR55.

I'm trying to get this system working between a mio xl midi router and a roland fantom 6. Both receivers have fast blue light flashing..doesn't seem to be communicating with each other. Any suggestions?

What do you recommend as a solution for a midi device that you want to send midi to that only has a midi input? For example, I have an Infinity Looper pedal that only has midi in, and I'd like to be able to remotely control it and send sync from both a Digitakt and iOS device if that is possible. The iOS device would be for control and the Digitakt would mainly be for sending midi clock and start/stop commands. And the same time, Digitakt could send midi notes to soft synths running on the iOS device. So the first problem that I see is I need a way to power the MD1 that would be on the pedalboard to connect with the Infinity. The second part is whether or not multiple devices can work this way. I know I'd need 2 MD1s, one for the pedal, and one for the Digitakt.

and a follow up, I wish the cable was longer so that if I had 2 or more midi devices that were relatively close, and could be cabled together, then the MD1 could use the midi out from one device and the midi in of another, to complete the curcuit but have the rest of the midi devices cabled up as usually. So for example, in line with the above scenario with Infintiy being the master clock for the looper, I could have an MD1 connected to a Microfreak which would be cabled to Digitakt, which could be cabled to a Crave, and then finally to a Volca FM at the end. Then I'd have wireless communication between the synths, the iOS device, and the Looper using just 2 MD1s.

Can this be used to send MIDI output from a non-bluetooth Focusrite interface to MULTIPLE devices MIDI inputs? For example, having 2 MD1s plugged into digital guitar amps both listening to a 3rd MD1 plugged into the interface.
