WOW! I've only been there once as a scout. And typical scout behavior we climbed to the top of the peak too. That was 43 years ago. Back then there was not a developed campground, thats crazy! The "Ghost town" at the bottom, if I remember correctly was an old silver mining town. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
Looks fun. I was thinking of heading up mid May. I know each year is different, but what are your thoughts. Do you think it’s too early, or is it accessible?
