That is beautiful Vk. My Dad passed away almost 20 years ago, and I remember, as I was learning piano, the notes actually hurt - so much. But as some time passed, they hurt less and I missed that - felt guilty. This reminded me of that time.

Honestly. People here in New Zealand must picture the Say Yeah, Nah ad when hearing this. I would suggest for anybody else watching it, then listen to this song again. It becomes so much better. Masterful piano playing btw. I can't believe I only found this channel the other day while looking for piano covers of Hurt.

I have to say I love to hear the full intro to the song and always play it myself, but this is by far the best version I've heard for piano. You really capture the Meat Loaf sound and the left hand part on the bridges ("Some days it don't come easy" etc.) is immense and hits all the right sounds. It was a pleasure to listen throughout!

When you get to this level of playing notes on paper are nothing more than reference points, like waypoints on a map. This is purely played by letting your feelings take over with the occasional glance at the sheet music to find your way. Absofuckinglutely perfectly played.

It makes me so emotinal when this song was a hit my life was in stormy waters , and now i know meatloaf died from covid it makes me so sad.I fought a batlle against covid in october 2020 , i ve won the batlle but stil have long covid. I love Meatloaf i hope that his music warm many people and may he rest in peace.He was a gentle soul and fight against pain in his back and died of covid , its realy sad......
