EDIT: when I said 'ICPL' in there, about selling out super fact, I meant to say 'ICC' which is the Iron City Classic. This is a throwback style event with all-mech 10 man as its centerpiece...how awesome! The ICPL is the International Classic Paintball League, which is a series featuring mech-only tournaments. ..also awesome. Why does everyone overlook Automags? I've been playing since the 90's and I recently got back into paintball. The first thing I did after playing a few days with a brand new electric gun was build 2 Automags and buy a few cheap Spyders and Piranhas to fix up. They are so much more fun.

EMEK! I push it on all the new players I introduce to paintball that want to buy their own gear. Its a very good value and has several upgrades not to mention all the bodies being made for it.

For $220, Emek...way simple. Autocockers are great, but cheap and awesome is the Emek game now

Agreed! I love my EMEK. I'm all about the GTEKs! I've got a GTEK (which I'll be converting the MECH), 160R, EMEK, and soon a 170R. I was hooked on PE the moment I played with the GTEK.

Hey Airtime! What do you think about automags for mech on the cheap? I see old lvl7s on eBay for under 200$. Easy to work on, fun to shoot, plus you can get parts for ‘em

I just picked up a 05 prostock and I was wondering what kind of feedneck you have on yours because it’s very low on the body

That is a Planet Eclipse Geo feed neck. I had the stock one machined to fit that.

The emek in myt opinion is the cheapest and best mech paintball gun for the money. You can shoot it fast and it has the reliable gamma core.

Also consider emek or gog enemy pro , both are under $250. I owned an autococker, nothing wrong with them , and I remember back in the day loving them but now. I just want to spend all the time timing and solving issues. I tell people to stay away from them.

That one is long since sold, but I keep a Syx in my personal rotation. Awesome marker for sure!

CS2 is advanced gama core runs of a crazy low 110PSI

My MacDev drone runs at 100psi and it did it 10 years ago for 1/4 the price.

The CS2 is actually a Gamma Pro core, which is a bit different from the standard Gamma Core, but it's not a huge difference. I used to think it was, but then I was educated on the differences :)

@@72twist I love the Drones for sure. That said, operating pressure isn't an objective measure of quality in any way. It's nice to have a lower operating pressure, but a marker that operates at a higher pressure than another isn't automatically not as good a marker. Drones are great, but they're no CS2 that's for sure.

The superstock was the electronic version of the WGP autococker. Mechanical only is the pro stock. You can see the difference on the 3 way valve. They have a solenoid housing with an eclipse "e" on them

Good video but that was definitely not a $900 autococker in its day,. That model was actually released in the E-cocker era and was rather affordable comparatively.

I wasn't talking about in its day...the time I mentioned was well before its day. My point was that it was affordable in its day, and is cheap now. But, if you took it back to the 90's, compared to OG Cockers, it is amazingly great in stock form, and on par with very expensive Cockers in that time period. Thanks for watching and for the reply! I love getting to read about what folks think about this stuff.
