Ah yes, true WW2 atmosphere of one man army killing dozens of soldiers like nothing. Even Allied Assault was more realistic, not to mention other games. I get the nostalgia but please try to avoid such claims and focus on what was really making the game exceptional - graphics and gameplay when it was released.
@@DesideriusTheSerious The atmosphere is amazing, but is his opinion and my too (Underground is my favorite), also is a game, the realistic fact is bs, is not important in Video Game.
I like both WAW and Medal of Honor atmosphere. One is dark and gritty. While the other one is polygon... Ok that's the console. But it's heroic. And being a one man army game.
The old MOH games were such a vibe. I vividly remember playing this game and then when I got PS2 with Frontline, everything became surreal. I can hear the Frontline soundtrack to this day and I’m 32 now.
Medal of Honor is one of my favorite games of all time. The music is what does it for me, I wish they still made soundtracks like that in todays video games.
I think this the coolest shooting game ever made! Without these PS1 and N64 games we wouldn't had any of these newest detailed games! Just like in 1999! I been playing stuck with roller coaster tycoon all my life!
Beat this on my Steam Deck with all of the emulator settings turned up about a month ago. It felt great to relive my childhood and actually beat one of the games I had but never finished!
Aww the nostalgia takes me back to happy times....anyone remember the way u could jam disc tray open etc to play pirated games swap them back with a real game dureing loading screen aww the memories and writing down cheat codes from back of game magazines 😂
I remember the video store owner telling me that each gun had their real life sounds when shooting and reloading and I was like 🤯🤯🤯 the end of pew pew noises
Just re played and beat this, you can use strategy or play it as a straight shooter, no crosshair but the aiming is intuitive, and then the aimed crosshair mode allows for a fun shooting mechanic tho mix in-between. This set the tone and pace for WW2 games and fps on the consoles going foreward
My Grandpa bought me this game and a new PS1 when I was 6 or 7 became I broke my right arm but he didn't get me a memory card so I had to restart the game every time I got off 😅
