jhonny bravo also appeared with the scooby gang... I wonder... would johnny bravo in venture bros actually be brock samson? a sort of hanna barbara version?
Maybe this takes place in the Mystery Inc continuity. In that show there were tons of similar groups who start out solving mysteries with an animal companion (talking seemed to be optional) until they eventually turn into backstabbing, treasure hunting, murders. It would explain these freaks pretty well.
Brock is a raging beast with passion his blood. Those "so called" GROOVEY Guys right there were the real monsters. Mystery solving thugs gotz to have a Code ya know?! They beat those venure boys to death and threw them down a hole like animals. How many times have they got away with that? Brock and Venturestein are REAL MEN.
It is sad when the parody characters that are based partly on Patty Hearst(Daphne), Ted Bundy(Fred), Valerie Solanas(Velma), and David Berkowitz(Shaggy) from Venture Bros are more true to the characters than the *official* "comedic remake"
@@InfernosReaper apparently the “real” scooby gang exists in venture bros and action Johnny got herpes from Velma. From the episode where the boys and hated went to the movies and the boy adventures went to therapy
@@InfernosReaper Yeah, we all know the real serial killers are entitled shit ass celebrities who aims to declare franchise assassination in the most gruesome way possible. I gotta say, as celebrities, actors and as human beings in general, a lot of The Office alumni are really fucking shitty people.
I honestly feel bad for the dog lmaooo. He showed support to his owner the whole episode and was willing to die to save his owner when Fred was hurting him!!
Man......this series went so far ahead. It was at first jjust some silly comedic fart-joke parody mixed with all kind of older cartoons, to starting to get more serious and better with writing to have some very deep moments. I love this show. Really looking forward to watch season 8 in 2047
I got the Son of Sam killer joke off the bat, but it took me way to long to notice that Ted = Ted Bundy, Patty = Patty Hearst, and Val = Valerie Solanas.
Factoid: this episode came out during the latter half of the Mystery Incorporated storyline which had Patrick Warburton (Brock Samson) playing a sherrif character and having someone get STRAIGHT UP MURKED VIA EXECUTION
0:52 "So I animated a Frankenstein's monster-like abomination with an African American forehead sliding on top of a dead clone slug with Hanna-Barbara stock cartoon sound effects a la Scooby-Doo parody with the gang being based on infamous serial killiers and drugged out hippies from the 1970s. So how was your day, honey?"
I can assure you there's darker. This is still innocent kiddy fun compared to the seasons coming forward. The serial killer references did make it a tinge dark.
Nah. Shaggy was off the dope/painkillers and Fred appeared to be the dealer/manipulator. Kind of felt bad for him and the dog considering he was ready to fuck Fred up when he saw his owner in danger.
What i find most interesting is the fact venture has a virtually limitless supply of organs that he could have sold to the hospitals across the country and charged any fee he wanted and they would not have asked too many questions. This really could have solved all his money troubled and gotten venture Industries a foot in the medical field with slugs he could use as drug test subjects
Eh it's possible that the cloned bodies aren't viable as organ donations, or at least not until a certain age is reached outside of the tubes. Since they came from slugs.
@electrobob992 would have to disagree, it is shown they are on life support which means the organs are all functioning. Reason to believe they don't have the flesh is because he has to add the scars as and such from previous life so they would not get suspicious of them being clones.
This may actually be one of the rare cases he thinks about somebody other than himself while still being selfish. Selling organs from the Venture clones would make them unusable for Dean and Hank's full revival in case they die. While he did steal their kidneys that one time he did it in a way they'd both live since at that point they're full formed and can take the loss. Stealing from an incomplete clone would pretty much kill it instantly. To sum it up he'd rather be poor than to jeopardize his sons continued existence. Sorta weirdly heartwarming.
@daltonboardman9870 did you not watch the episode ending, he was ready to pull the plug on all of them in order to fill his dead body quota for the army. Safe to rule out him not acting selflessly. Plus he had the luxury to make more clones that weren't necessarily Hank and Dean in order to carry on with his business "ventures" pun intended
@@amyschildgamerlive4519 with it being brock it wouldn't make a difference even if he didn't hesitated considering that brock had survived way worse such as an explosion, survived being sucked out into space and so on. He was fucked the moment he bumped into him
@@winnietheboogaloo4584 the only time he was shot and it was effective is when at the mall when rusty got his eye knocked out of its socket leaving it dangling like a Christmas ornament
I'm a year too late to save you, moat likely, but maybe someone else will share your thought while reading thru the comments, so.... It's not as good as clips like this make it look. All the best moments, pretty much, and like 99% of the clips all involve Brock, but he's a side character on the show itself. He doesn't get as much screen time as clips of the show lead you to believe, and it's a shame. That's why this show isn't as popular (and never was) as it would be if Brock were the main attraction. It never quite made it to the 'classic/must see' levels you would think it deserved... As a show altogether, it's a 'meh.' I like 'Superjail' a lot more.
Yeah. Yeah you should it's fucking great. It was the best animated show for awhile that never got the attention it deserved. Hell they did so much nerd culture stuff that was a head of it's time. The character Dr. Byron Ortheous a take on Dr.Strange is great.
1:05 this is actually a legit way to break someone's arm. It's braced between the bicep and forarm, while the other arm is forcing it down, the ulna and radius are actually really thin, like less than pork ribs. It doesn't take much to snap them down the center
