Another quick question, can this be done with agents such as merchants & spys and even the pope models? Also is there a way of importing the different tiered armoured versions into blender too?

Well made video! One question regarding the files generated after going from dae back to mesh. What are those action and basepose files supposed to represent? The new animation and skeleton file?
i have converted cas file of rtw to dae including bones and movement but when i import and export dae file from blender then use iwte tool to convert dae to cas_mesh it shows crash error. what step did i go wrong ?i used blender 2.77
Great tutorial, thank you very much. The only thing that seems a little off is the .dds to texture converter which I used after editing a unit texture. It looked fine in Blender but was completely messed up in game. Have you had similiar problems too?
Use either IWTE or modelers toolbox to convert textures, they work fine for me (turn specular to 0 in material properties in blender to see better what texture looks like). Make sure you make new normal maps as well for your new textures.
Followed everything perfectly but every time i load it into blender, every single version of the model is collided into each other kinda like a russian doll, is there anyway of resolving this without having to delete all the duplicates for each model until theres only 1 of each?
Hello! A question: How could I change the weapon for the French Lancers? When I want to remove his horse, perfect, but it's still remains with the lance as main weapon, even if the animation is for swordsman. Thanks.
The new question is: I'm trying to import the 2 hand sword from a Gothic Knight and put it in a dismounted lancer, but the sword remains in the air, I can't put it into the armature, and so, the soldier could do the animation with the 2 hand-sword.
